Kid Lia + some hair style concepts so I can yap about them lmao

  1. Just a simple curly updo. I think it would be really cute for prom.
  2. PIXIE CUT LIA SUPREMACY!!! I also like the idea of her matching her mum.
  3. This is what I think the state of her curls are in canon. She’s been straightening it for like three years, so I think the heat damage has loosened them a lot. This is with product as she probably used heavy curl cream and gel lmao.
  4. French curl braids. I did not copy the season 2 design too closely since that would be a spoiler.
  5. Her natural hair brushed out without product. I headcanon that her hair is thinner at the ends because that’s what she straightened the most, even back in her middle school design.
  6. Cornrows. Well, they were supposed to be cornrows, but I think I messed it up a bit. Either way, it’s kind of her middle school design but without the ponytail.

I also think Lia relaxed her hair around the last year of middle school, since she became more insecure about her hair texture, and only fully straightened it after that.

This is my tribute since we’re probably not gonna get this in her character in season 2 as there’s a time a jump. So no Lia being confident in discovering her style without outside pressure and would happen off screen 🚶🏾‍♀️

I love toying with the idea that people assume Lia only supports tmc because of Jake and because the school likes them now. From Hailey’s POV, she thinks Lia would not want to be associated with them otherwise.

My favourite thing in canon is that Drew is always the last person to know or realise literally any of the drama, despite being academically the smartest person in the room.

Meanwhile, Lia somehow figures everything out first - either by over-analysing behaviour or by stumbling into the truth through sheer dumb luck.

The whole hang out scene in ep 9 is Lia exposing Jake and Drew going “What??? You did that????”

it’s a fun parallel- the person closest to Jake being oblivious and the person least closest having the most insight.

Watching st5 and now the conversation between will and robin has me wishing that Jake and Lia had an ounce of that. Especially since the convo between them and his with Daisy pushed him to make that speech in the finale.

Drew has the worst toxic masculinity (he lowkey a prime target for red pill content if you think about it) . He spends most of it projecting his worst traits onto Hailey, trying to make Jake see her as the problem instead of facing himself. He probably has the worst superiority complex in the entire cast while Jake, on the other hand, has the worst inferiority complex lmaoooo

I love/ hate Droey, but I like that it’s so obvious they’re an unhappy couple on both sides. I always see the angst from Drew’s end, but from Zoey’s perspective it’s so much more interesting!!!! She hates Jake - like, really hates him - and that deep resentment comes from knowing that if it ever came down to it, Drew would choose Jake a hundred times over her. In Zoey’s point of view, it’s always Jake who came between them. The diary situation. Drew always asking Jake to join their hangouts. Her best friend fawning over him even after he blackmailed her. She was bound to crash out eventually since she hates losing control of a situation.
