my favorite aspects of charlie x alastor is that they’re both narcissists and wear masks, they both intend to prove that others are wrong about them, that they are above anyone

they both like to observe others and manipulate in their own ways, charlie just do it “for the sake of good”, and not really thinks that she’s “above” - but the way that she’s 100% sure she can change anyone says a lot about how she views herself

they’re a big entertainment for each other cause their dynamic is built on how they are attempting to expose each other: charlie seeks to prove alastor’s humanity, while alastor, in turn, aims to reveal charlie's inhumanity. while they’re both are indeed sociopathic, yet ironically alastor stands closer to something human than charlie does, simply because he was one, while charlie is literally an antichrist

in canon I would change too much things tbh, cause it just doesn’t work the way it is - I’d start with the tone of the show and focus on main characters, which are charlie, alastor, vaggie, diving deeper in the psychological aspects of one being the devil, other an angel and the other a human being

I’d also focus on charlie’s ideas of redemption and how she would try to change people not in a childish ways we saw in season 1

plus the status of charlie and lucifer as the royals would mean a lot, so as the lucifer’s age and that he would act absolutely opposite due to that
