barbara and ian's exit is an unashamedly joyful one. they laugh about the missing years! they have a pigeon chasing montage! they whisper goodbye at the sky and then run off giggling! and then as vicki laughs at their joy, too happy to let the loss of her few friends sink in, one just turns his head and very gently says that he will miss them. he will miss them.
Doesn’t the universe implode or something if you dance?

I'll be adding more of my pixel art pieces as I make the patterns, but there's a few available right now!~ thank you so much for any support, this has been a lot of work but rly fun!
[ID: Cross-stitch patterns of different light pink drinks in well-lit areas. The first features three glasses of different shapes with branches of pink blossoms within them. The second is of a glass with a sprig of leaves in it, and the third shows a glass with mint placed on a saucer. All of the pieces feature light shining off the cups in pleasing ways. End ID]
Some very interesting bits from the recent appearance by Film is Fabulous! on the Missing Episodes Podcast.
A clarifying statement on their recent Facebook comments specifically:
“The comment that was made on Facebook related specifically to one item […]”
And this comment regarding the existence of yet further episodes:
“We are aware of several collectors – plural – with several episodes of Doctor Who that are missing from the archive – plural – that are in private collections and with former industry professionals.”
They claim to be in active discussions to obtain all of these, as well as the rest of the collections they come from. There have long been whispers of ‘several’ missing episodes still in existence with private collectors, but this is the most official word we’ve ever gotten. Yes, there are more missing episodes out there, and Film is Fabulous! as a charitable trust is working on recovering them. Who knows when negotiations will conclude, and then there’s likely to be a waiting period while the prints get restored and such, but for once we know there is something to look forward to.
Josh Snares also did a great video about the latest info on FIF's comments:
So sad to hear about Patricia Routledge’s death. Keeping Up Appearances is something I’ve watched and loved since I was a little kid. It’s a funny, goofy comedy on the surface but underneath it you have probably one of the best pieces of commentary on the British class system you can ask for.

Patricia Routledge was a treasure.
She was also good in, "Hetty Wainthropp Investigates".
Thank you, dear Patricia, for sharing your gifts.
