My guess for the ending is that they built this whole arc of Will looking for signs, Will asking when it's a good idea to start dating someone and then backing down because of the fear Vecna instilled in him, only for Mike to finally take the big final step. Because it has to be Mike who makes the first move.
And if that's not the case, then congratulations, Mike Wheeler, you're definitely your father's son.
I've been reading The Seven Secrets of Starlight for the last two weeks and I'm completely obsessed (and delighted) with these two.
I remember you once said that Luka would be better as Chat Noir than Adrien.
Is there anyone you think would be better as Ladybug than Marinette?
Obviously. Scarabella is right there; the only reason Alya didn't continue with the job was because she had an Alliance ring, and coincidentally, Marinette didn't. At least in another universe, Alya kept the Miraculous, just like Adrien, as we saw in Miraculous World: Paris.
I don't like the "She's the only one perfect for this Miraculous" rule because it's stupid to think that someone couldn't learn to use it and become an expert. There's a reason the Guardians' training exists.
If I had to choose someone else, besides Mari, Adrien, or Alya, I'd probably choose Zoe, Luka, or Felix. I think they're smart enough to quickly understand the situation and act, although, like Marinette and every human being, they have their weaknesses.
