It’s finally time for my pinned post!

If you click on my account, this is the first post you’ll see, so let me introduce myself if we haven’t met or if you want to know more about me.

I’m Katie, I’m 18, a lot of people on here call me Marvel, which I love, so call me anything you want. As the name suggests, I like Marvel, as well as Chucky movies, Greek mythology, Doctor Who, Tudor and Victorian history and musicals, particularly Hatchetfield musicals.

You probably know me because of my Hatchetfield posts such as incorrect quotes and thoughts on the Lords in Black, which have gotten surprisingly popular (I found one of them on an Instagram page the other day and was very excited). Or you might know me from my earlier Chucky posts/fics or my Hatchetfield fics/poetry. Under the same username as my Tumblr account, I’ve written a bunch of fics over on AO3, with my most popular being a fic called ‘Gotta Get Back To School’ about the Lords in Black going to Hatchetfield High. I’m halfway through a short sequel to that which is fun.

I’m very friendly, and I love replying to comments, reblogs, asks and messages. If you’ve just followed me, I hope you stick around, and if you’ve already been following me for a while, I hope this post showed you more about me :).

my corner store guy is a 50 year old man who's my best friend in the world and recently he was like "you're too pretty to be single I have some nephews you should meet. very handsome!" and I was like "a niece might be more up my alley" and he just got more excited and said "ah even better! I was overselling my nephews but my nieces are very beautiful"

"Why would this character be jealous of their friend's romantic relationships? Clearly they're in love with them" I don't know if you guys have ever Had Friends but it's actually pretty common for people to feel jealous if their best friend suddenly has less time for them and is prioritising someone they just met over them. That's not inherently romantic, that's the general human desire to be valued by the people you value.

daniel and louis uncovering the fact that louis was daniel’s guardian angel absolutely floors me. it’s yet another way that daniel is a parallel to claudia. claudia called louis an angel and louis led her to her death. louis acted as daniel’s angel and daniel was able to grow old. it’s such a redeeming moment for louis, who has grown accustomed to believing he destroys every life he touches.

Some questions I have about Once Upon a Time after watching the first ten episodes (I’m really enjoying it so none of these are meant as criticism):

  • Why is Mr Gold/Rumplestiltskin less Scottish in the present day and in the flashbacks as a human but somehow really Scottish when he goes full Dark One? Are they implying that people with strong Scottish accents are more likely to be evil wizards than people with softer Scottish accents?
  • Why couldn’t King Midas just sneak behind that dragon and grab onto its tail to turn it into gold without having to risk the lives of knights and princes? Was it a vanity thing?
  • Am I supposed to be horrified by the implications of Cinderella being pregnant for twenty-eight years without ever having a child? Because I am HORRIFIED
  • WHY is Regina’s gorgeous hair cropped into a bob in Storybrooke when she has so many beautiful styles in the flashbacks? And why is my beautiful Snow White sporting a pixie cut that doesn’t frame her face? Is that part of the curse? 😭

I’m fairly confident that I could rage-bait any fictional character of your choosing into ending me. Seriously - vampire, god, human, fairy, assorted fantasy creature, eldritch immortal being, animal, I can do it. I am THAT irritating. On the other hand, I could rage-bait them into making a decision that they didn’t make in canon, just give me five minutes alone in a room with an antagonist and they’ll come out seething.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to have fandom friends who don’t hate your guy but their fav is someone else and their main ship is something else. It keeps your fandom environment biodiverse. It forces you to have some perspective.

It has been a crappy week but this made me laugh out loud. Good for Anna for not taking their crap. Anna & Michael and also Georgia & David owe us nothing. If you can’t be happy about the things they choose to share then why are you following them? Also, if you’re offended by Anna’s comment but not about the bitchy question it was in response to - FUCK OFF.
