A while ago I was practicing fighting the Absolute Radiance to beat the Patheon of Hallownest and get the ‘Embrace the Void’ achievement (the last one I have to get for a perfect game), but she’s SOOOO hard to beat. I got frustrated, so I took a break and started drawing the scene instead. I’m actually super happy with how this turned out! Love the atmosphere it has, ánd I still needed a yellow entry for my colour-themed fanwork environments series. Enjoy! ^-^

some concept art of nightmare’s heart that I had posted on my twitter jsjs Why did I make him a shapeshifter? pfff why not? I mean it’s a creature of nightmares right? It’s scarier that I never have a definite shape. Btw, the jester appearance is basically a formal form that I have implemented him to interact, but only in the dream plane. His physical form is very small because he spends a lot of energy maintaining the Troupe, if he manages to get out to the physical plane he will only be a passive watcher.
