howdy stranger!

hi there, i'm maverick/mav!! welcome to my little corner of tumblr!

i'm an aspiring author who writes a lot of fiction and loves taking inspo from my fav literature and fandoms. i've written poetry, short stories, and i've recently made a narrative fiction podcast for school! i also write the occasional fic; you can find here me on ao3 @ fiducia_dolcezza! under #mav writes and #mav fanfic, you can find previews of my work. sometimes i make art, both of original stuff and fandom stuff, and i might post that here too :3c

a little bit more about me: i'm pan, grey ace, and genderfluid, so any pronouns (they/she/he) are fine with me, but i usually prefer to go by they/them. i'm 22 and in college, so i get pretty busy in the fall and spring, but i'll do my best to upload stuff of actual substance semi-regularly here. i'm more than happy to make friends, and i love having mutuals to hang with!

i’m a diehard transformers fan so you’ll see a lot of that on here, but i’m in a lot of other fandoms too teehee

after struggling with my motivation for a couple months, i'm finally making good progress on chapter 2 of 7,000 RPM, and decided to throw together a playlist as a gift to myself!!

cade listens to the radio in chapter 2, which made me think about what he would listen to, which then led me to making an entire hours-long playlist about his relationship with optimus. (this has the added bonus of providing a soundtrack i can listen to while i write.) i think he'd like 90s rock, country, and folk music a lot so the playlist is mostly country artists like jordan davis and luke combs with the occasional lord huron or civil wars song thrown in there. i defo projected a lot of my music taste onto him lol

this playlist is also generally how i see optimus and cade's relationship, so while it's inspired by 7k, it's not necessarily directly related to it in any way. i'll probably find ways to incorporate the various songs into the fic tho because i love musical symbolism. i love these two old men so much they make me so so ill /pos

finally got around to updating this playlist!! i added some new songs and took out a couple others and even though it's not in any particular order i think it encompasses my yeager program vibes pretty perfectly. i listen to this playlist religiously i love it so much
