i know that conformity gate is just a theory and that we won't be getting another episode today and that they'll be announcing spin offs like it's a marvel timeline but i would be lying if i said there isn't a part of me that believes it. that tiny glimmer of hope, that dreamer, the child inside of me who watched this show when it first aired. for her, i want there to be a more cohesive ending.

calling her JANE and not el/eleven. no. JANE. HER FUCKING NAME. because she is not eleven. she is not a fucking number or a lab rat. she is JANE HOPPER.
i’ve lowkey been so sick and tired of everyone STILL calling her el/eleven. continuing to basically affiliate her with “eleven”, and the lab where she has experienced insane trauma. yeah cool.
but nah, her dad was willing to die for her and willing to SEE HER AND LOVE HER BECAUSE SHE IS JANEEEE NOT BCZ SHE IS “11” GOD DAMN IT
i never see anyone in the fandom refer to her as jane really, and it js makes me so damn sad. let’s call her jane. let’s all collectively call her jane. El is ok, Mike gave it to her which is associated with a happier memory of course but still tied back to eleven so yeah i don’t rlly enjoy it.
