5 things I like about myself ...
1. I am emotional. I cry in public. I cry when I’m happy, when I’m sad, when I’m upset, when any emotion is larger than I can handle in the moment.
2. I am inclusive. I believe that all humans are inherently equal - that any sense of hierarchy is culturally made and should be given the side-eye.
3. I am kind. I do not like to speak ill of anyone. I do not want to annoy other people. I do not want to make others uncomfortable.
4. I am curvy. Finding a bra that fits is a PITA but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
5. I love to plan and organize. I may not always be the tidiest person in the world - but I think it’s because when I’m stressed, I want to be able to spend some time putting things away. LOL

You hurried through the small crowd of people that was already gathered on PPG plaza, the mirrored buildings that surrounded it reflecting the late-morning sun. Even though it was the Monday following Thanksgiving, the air hadn’t shifted to downright cold yet, and you enjoyed walking from your office to the plaza and back whenever you could for coffee or lunch. Gets me out of the office, that’s for sure.
But rather than stopping even for a few minutes to finish your coffee and watch the ice skaters, you hurried back in the direction of your father’s building. Afternoon tour, only two guys, shouldn’t be difficult… Quickly crossing Stanwix Street, you tossed your empty cup into the trash can and turned right, headed for the main entrance of Four Gateway Center - the skyscraper that housed your father’s business.

I haven’t been on much either. I’m still here, but mostly just chatting with people - not really reading or reblogging or writing.
I’ve fallen behind in the choices books but I’m working on catching up. I’m a sucker for a professor romance, so I’m loving Queen B.
I read The Wayhaven Chronicles and am in love with each character and the idea of how they would handle a human/vampire relationship.
When it comes to work though, I’m lucky and I get to work from home. These crazy times are hard though as our enrollment numbers are lower and I don’t want to lose any staff.

This is another word that I used to think meant something negative. I used to think it was someone who wanted the spotlight - who worked only to get reward or praise.
I think my default to reading things through the lens of sarcasm really messed up my initial understanding of words as a child.
