web weaving, poetry, and breakdowns

when kait rokowski said โ€œnothing ever ends poetically. it ends and we turn it into poetry. all that blood was never once beautiful. it was just red.โ€ and when gilanares said โ€œyou know all the famous poets wrote all their greatest lines when they were living at their lowest.โ€ and when elisa gabbert said โ€œwe become lyrical when we suffer.โ€

would you like to be old friends? maybe meet again in a decade or so? stumble into the same corner of the world by happy, human accident? look at me like you know me? like all the love we had was just on stand by, waiting to be fallen back into, waiting for permission to wake up, like the dormant volcano we are? pick each other back up again like a well loved, well forgotten book? would you like to be old friends? would you like to remember me a little?

i donโ€™t want to be angry anymore iโ€™m never going to hate again unless someone says something really stupid or if i see something i donโ€™t like at all or maybe just whenever i feel like it

it's a weird emotion when somebody goes "doesn't this just shake you to your core and rewrite your dna and change who you are as a person" and your honest experience of it was that it was ok

you should be able to right click things in real life and see how old they are

somewhere out there is information on when these streetlamps were erected and who put them up, itโ€™s just not information available to me. and i donโ€™t like that. i should know everything forever.

Actually, yes, at some point as an adult iIt is your responsibility to learn about history and politics outside of what you were taught in traditional k-12 education
