I have finished my version of everyone's favorite Erydian, ROCKY! The precious baby is from the book Project Hail Mary and was sculpted in @monsterclayusa , molded and cast in urethane. The figure has articulation using ball jointed elastic tension. His sweater is all hand made but the backpack was assembled from premade 1/6 scale clothing and found objects. I will not be selling these casts since it's not my IP but I may have the parts scanned and digitized to be available for 3d print downloads on my patreon! Did you know you can clean your @monsterclayusa ? My clay accumulates plastic bits, hair, plaster, silicone ,etc during the mold process and it sure is annoying to run into this detritus when I'm trying to sculpt! Every once in a while I will melt the clay into a liquid and run it through a screen. Push it around and watch all the grody little bits emerge and your clay is ready to use over and over again! These stone carvings are found by forest paths and serve as an opportunity for travellers to petition for safety while crossing through the dense woodland. Offerings of small favored objects, morsels of indulgent food or small unusual rocks is an effective way to earn protection of this particular nature deity. Many travellers also leave small handmade effigies near these statues for others to take with them for continued luck. The custom is to replace a taken effigy with one's own carving on the next excursion through the area. There are reports of dishonest effigy "collectors" finding themselves stricken with a curse of gastrointestinal distress until the fair share is returned to the stone idol...
This is for a blank cold cast iron cast of the 3.5" effigy figure ONLY! The second picture shows what the figure will look like out of the box. Buyer will need to sand seams and bottom. Polishing with steel wool will bring out the metal effect.

( The first round has been packed and will be in the mail tomorrow) These were hand sculpted in clay and are cast with iron powder mixed with urethane , giving the feel and weight of metal without the cost of actual metal casting. The original was sculpted in clay, this is not a 3D print.
The Waypoint Watcher is a 12" urethane hollow cast. It has been sculpted to look like stone but is not actual stone. This is a finished sculpture that is hand painted and decorated with faux moss/fern accents. The necklaces are made from bone, wood and glass beads.
The eyes are glass with a reflective gold/purple shifting backing.
There is a small reliquary locket containing sand from a Scottish loch and a brass fang.

Finished up my ball jointed doll of Rocky from the book Project Hail Mary! ( need to get a more matt clear coat) I sculpted this in a mix of CX5 and monster clay , made molds and cast everything in urethane for this final posable version. Since this is fan art , it's not something I'm going to sell but I may have the parts digitally scanned so it can be available as free printable files... now I need to make a tiny sweater and tool belt!

What better way to spend Thanksgiving than to spend it ( at least a few minutes of it) buying a shirt of my classic Krampus ! I drew this in 2009 to look like an old vintage greeting card but with my take on the terrifying child stealing menace. I did the job too well since it's often been assumed to actually BE an old copyright free image and winds up on all sorts of products and projects. Serves me right for tangling with Krampus! 🤷♀️
