I think the coming out scene sucked for a reason. We supposed to feel unsure and devastated. Will was literally forced into coming out by his abuser. He was not ready for it and even if he was, he wouldn’t have done it in front of the whole gang. but since he was basically forced into it, he had to rip off the bandaid. he had to make sure that everyone knew because that was his “weakness” and he thought that if he’s not hiding it anymore Vecna can’t take advantage of his secret and whatever vecna showed him won’t happen. The duffers may suck, but they do know how to make emotional unique scenes even if it is a coming out. (s4 jonathan and will or Steve and robin)

and remember what they said.. it’s gonna be devastating, get some tissues, and it’s gonna be a long week.
