YAYYY I finally got done with these... I'm starting the 2nd season for sailor moon rn and i'm so excited ... If you'd hear me out for the reaching I'm about to do for these redesigns it would be cool LOL... Ok so, I had the idea to connect the sailors to their planets more, to their metals and even chakras! (yea i know... i thought it would be cool LOL)
Sailor Moon is connected to the heart chakra, so her emblem is closest to her chest, her metal is gold. I also gave her a crescent scar where her tiara is, i thought it would be a cute nod to her true identity... It's also a subtle nod to Uzumaki 🤫
Sailor Mercury is connected to the throat chakra, so she wears a choker with her emblem on it, her metal is silver.
Sailor Mars is connected to the root chakra, so she has a belt in her civilian form and her guardian form, her metal is bronze.
Sailor Jupiter is connected to the crown chakra, so she has her emblem in her hair ... beads? thing, her metal is copper.(y'know... like lightning and electricity)
Lastly, Sailor Venus is connected to the sacral chakra, so in her guardian form she has a hair clip, purse and tights design with her emblem, her metal is purple bismith.
For Luna and Artemis I was inspired by these cats drawn by @/iamawheelchair on twitter, so very cute!!! I made them sphinx's because i thought it would be cute for them to have wings. IDK how Usagi would explain that one away to cover it up...

my favorite thing about BFDIE is the fact all the recovery centers are colored after the respective contestant all personalized and cute when in S1 those were considered like, The Nice ones. like the kind you splurge on. no wonder announcer's always out of money 😭😭😭😭 spending it all on his dumb spinoff show!!!! incredible

vio was tellin me on call that she thinks of one of my ocs as like a 12 year old kid and my mind's been stuck on it because ive never. thought about that even once. i feel like i rarely consider objects to be kids Or adults they just kind of...... are.

ts always been strange to me the amount that Dess in fandom is associated with the electric guitar. And, sure, we learn through Raise Up Your Bat that Dess loved rock music videos— but it’s explicitly an acoustic guitar that she owns.
Its very possible that people won’t like this one because I made Dess kind of bratty. But you know, she’s a messy teen, she should show it! I’m living my Bratty Dess truth. Ooh is that a ship? Bratcember? Gatordoe?
Anyways, to me the electric/accoustic split represents the division between Dess’s personality and aspirations and her family’s quiet, reserved qualities that constrain her. And while a part of her is resents her family for that, at the end of the day she still loves them, with that kind of love that hurts because it’s a contradiction. Thats what I feel is represented by the guitar, for me at least.
