i kinda don't like those posts that are like "it feels so good to be a hater in private instead of bullying people" because i don't think the only two options for negative opinions are Privacy or Bullying. being a hater in a public forum is perfectly fine, and even the most vitriolic negative opinions are not automatically bullying just because someone who might have their feelings hurt by them sees them. there's a difference between being negatively impacted by something you see and being actually targeted by negativity.
seeing someone drop an absolute dogshit off the mark screed against something you love that is not actually harmful in any real way but nevertheless activates the enrage phase of your boss battle and then learning to either just block them or keep scrolling without it ruining your day is a valuable skill. and i think we've all seen what spaces that demand constant positivity end up like. developing an inconsequential bullshit tolerance is necessary to be a well balanced member of a social species.

NOTTTT a post I ever wanted to make again but 🤷 I had the flu last week and wasn’t able to make it in for some of my shifts and they decided to let me go over it. It was really shitty (I had drs notes and everything) but at the end of the day it’s an at-will state. i counted 30/50 of my current follows are ppl who have been banned this week alone. that's fucking absurd and it's only the ppl ive got here who i know have remade and ive found so far this time. i know plenty of girls who have not remade yet or aren't planning to who were deleted this week too. and so many of these were blogs that were years long. fucking hell
In the hours between seeing this post and finding the energy to write this, this blog too has been banned for the crime of posting while transfem. Indeed, even complaining about the situation is considered a bannable offense.
Is it not damning that this website is less safe for transfem people than the Nazi bar that is Twitter? Is it not damning that this website is overwhelmingly white? Is it not damning that people are harassed, banned and marked as "mature content" with no recourse or explanation? Is it not damning that the owner of Tumblr harassed a user on other websites?
Tumblr is long overdue for another lawsuit. Please submit any and all examples of discriminatory bans and "mature" hypocrisy; it will be archived off-site. Please also follow @find-my-mutuals for mutual recovery, because who knows who it will happen to next.
