i’ve had kind of a crazy few months because i just stayed my master’s program, but i’ve been working on the next chapter when i have time for about a month now and i plan to release it before my term starts up again 🥰

hi there!! i would say yes it is easy to make friends in college, as long as you try to put yourself out there no matter how scary and awkward it can be

i went about a year at college without making any deep friendships because i wouldn’t go to campus except to be in class and i was pretty to shy. but once i started putting in a real effort (making small talk, asking people for their instagram or phone numbers, asking to get coffee with someone i connected with, etc.) it became much easier!!

i went to a competitive school where a lot of people didn’t particularly want to make friends, and that was hard to figure out and push past. but it really does get better and there truly are wonderful people out there who want to make friends just like you!

i’m actually getting my master’s degree in literature in england this year so currently not working a job, as i’m doing that full time!! during my undergrad i was a paid research assistant at my university and i also tutored and worked at a café part time 🩷
