~ I am a big mixed bag of mental disorders, mainly suffering from Schizophrenia (yes, I am diagnosed and have been for 13+ years), C-PTSD, GAD, depression and autism. Recently, I have also discovered I am a system/plural and still exploring this. Mental health is a very important topic to me, and I often like to vent, explore and compare my own experiences with trauma and mental illness through fictional media and artwork. I don’t give a shit if he’s just a fictional character, from my experience being in this fandom, the way people talk about treating the Dudes is often a reflection of how they treat or feel about real people dealing with mental illness and addiction. Yall have proven that to me time and time again. Have you guys ever considered that maybe an artist doesn’t want to see stupid shit like this added to their art of their favorite characters? Learn some fucking manners and basic fandom etiquette when adding comments to people’s artwork. This is embarrassing.

I got tired of seeing nothing but inaccurate colorings of this concept art for Postal 1 Dude online so I decided to take this HD scan (on the right) and do my own based off his CANON design that we’ve seen in official RWS merch and artwork. It’s unfortunate that the one from google most people go with is such shitty quality that the lineart blends into itself (like how you can barely see his undershirt collar which IS infact there and visible here, that’s not a shadow and he isn’t wearing a sweater vest) and has caused so many design mistakes that people use in their fanart of him. It bugs me a lot so I did this mostly for fun and my own personal use. I did not add anything, simply adjusted the contrast/sharpness a bit then colored and slightly shaded the existing image.
