All of the original Darth Vader actors are now gone.

Aww 🥺
This is my favourite genre of Anidala/Skyfam fanart.
Genuinely, WHAT is the point of Anakin-haters trying to 'prove' that Anakin was 'evil all along'? Not only is that explicitly NOT canon (which is obvious by watching TPM, confirmed by authorial intent, and long-establshed since RotJ), but also.... do these people realise they are allowed to hate Anakin even if he was a good, kind-hearted person to begin with? You can simply hate characters for your own reasons or even for no reason at all, you don't have to try to 'justify' it by claiming something so completely against canon that all it does is make you look media-illiterate. Just own the fact you hate Anakin. But you can't avoid the canon reality that he started out as a good person and then had a FALL to the Dark Side. Nor can you avoid the fact that he still had goodness in him even after he became Vader. Anakin is also the main character and central figure of the Skywalker saga (PT x OT), whether you like it or not. If you hate this, then I'm afraid you just hate Lucas Star Wars. Stick to Disney shlock if that is more up your alley. Again, you can hate Anakin all you want, but please STOP trying to 'prove' something completely un-provable. It just makes you look ridiculous.
Anakin was Padme’s knight in shining armor when she was in distress. He killed the lethally poisonous kouhuns, saving her life while she was asleep, in Attack of the Clones.
And as an added bonus: screenshots from my Sims 4 game of Anakin acting as Padme’s knight in shining armor.
They are the cutest Anidala Sims I've ever seen. Could anyone tell me where I can find the Hair Anakin has in the images?
oh my god lmao has everyone in my notes just decided to un-watch the movies today. and i say this as a "padme was a victim of sheev too" advocate
"probably had limited interaction with him before being knighted" ok so this is called SUBTEXT. at the beginning of attack of the clones. what can we INFER from anakin being defensive of palpatine when talking to obi wan and insisting over and over that he is a good man. what can we ASSUME about this nineteen year old former child slave who now lives on coruscant full time and was taken from his only parental figure, about this older mentor figure he talks about in such glowing terms & who he consults with privately, who he trusts without question. could it BE that they TALK
it kills me because it is true that padme has a similar relationship to sheev! they are both children he manipulated! can fandom hold more than 2 abuse victims in their head at once!
#absolutely hilarious #I'm sure Sheev 'we'll watch your career with great interest' Palpatine had nothing to do with Anakin while he was growing up #my it's almost like they're strangers with how they interact in aotc /sarcasm (tags via elizabethwydevilles)
Also in RotS it is flat out confirmed that Palpatine had contact with Anakin very early on when Anakin says, "He's watched out for me ever since I arrived here."
" I We'll watch your career with great interest"
"He's watched out for me ever since I arrived here"
"He's long been groomed for his role as my master's new apprentice"
Probably had pretty limited interaction with him before being knighted MY ASS
sigh saw someone say that anakin and ahsoka have the same type of relationship that palpatine and anakin had.
yeah sure man surely the twelve years grooming session to the ex-child slave is the same thing as the two years and a half of apprenticeship between a nineteen years old general and a fourteen years old commander.
yeah surely. oh and the guy who is famous for being SHIT at manipulating is also manipulating the child. yeah i see your vision how could I not
anakin was too busy trying to keep the child soldier alive instead of preaching about patience and letting go of your attachments up and down. come on now. get a fucking grip.
That stupid take makes me so goddamn angry. Anakin die actually a wonderful job with raising training Ahsoka. So good actually I think he would be an amazing father, if it had not been for his fall to the dark side. Meanwhile Palpatine never actually gave a shit about Anakin and only bothered him because Anakin was the Chosen One destined to destroy both Sith and Jedi and the old fool thought he could escape his destinyand definitely thought "If you can't beat 'em, make 'em join you"
anidala is the prettiest ship methinks
Hey, I read your Reysky stuff and couldn't resist rewatching Rogue One and I tell you I have been BLIND, it really makes me wish Jyn had gotten off planet in time before the Death Star hit Scarif, specifically if they had made her a Force sensitive (she literally said May the Force be with you) and she had a Force premonition that she needs to get off Scarif asap and had met Luke und became Skymom. It just would've made so much sense.
I hope you still like this theory because Disney can pry the parallels with her and Luke from my dead cold hands. Plus I just know Galen and Anakin would get along wonderfully as in-laws.
Yes, absolutely! I still support this theory because the latter two sequels don't really make sense with Rey's origin (or anything really), so they don't count as canon to me. Plus, there's also a theory where even Jyn didn't get off Scarif in time, her kyber crystal necklace could have allowed her to survive (or at least come back from the dead). This kind of thing isn't unprecedented, with Darth Maul earlier in Star Wars and Phil Coulson in the MCU.
Really, it's not just the parallels between Luke and Jyn and between their respective families that gives credence to this theory of them meeting and getting together, but also the parallels that both of them have with Rey that support them being Rey's parents.
