Today I would like to share my final doodles for this year! Started 2025 with a drawing of LU Time im ending with Time! Or rather…an AU VERSION OF TIME!

I got to thinking and imagining and then designing a Linked Universe AU where everything is the same EXCEPT Time is around 12, and fresh from Majoras Mask! I wanted to think how the dynamics would change how’d he’d view the group how he’d view Twilight how would young link react to being thrown into LU? It fascinated me! So I drew it! It’s mainly inspired by Hyrule Warriors since he’s playable there and fics and fanart that have him and Wars interacting and being chaotic brothers are my bread and butter! Anyways I def either wanna just draw more of this or write a fic about it! It’s keeping me up gaaah!

Oh and that last image is a sneak peek for a small animation im making with this AU! Look forward to it! It should be my first big video in about 6 months-

So ive noticed a pattern! Every year since 2020 ive accidentally drawn Time from Linked Universe fully rendered portrait inspired art AT LEAST ONCE PER YEAR

So naturally before the art block catches up to me I digitalised a quick paper sketch of my favorite man!

And now looking at the previous years its nice to see my progress! Lets take a look at them!!!

2020 was so hard to find i belive its from a long deleted animation meme! My style was a bit amature and not as detailed due to learning digital art for the first time(pun intended lol) and of course I hated the idea of drawing all that armor! It spooked little 12 year old me!

2021 was getting there! I had gotten the hang of digital art and had even began to play around with my style and brushes! Its very soft here and the lighting is okkaaay(not really) and of course no armor since it still freaked me out(but we got a lil Malon in the corner! I love her!)

2022 I finally started drawing armor! Its not perfect and definitely not referenced correctly(what is that shoulder armor design that's not his TT) but we got a side profile and shading only problem was its unfinished ive scoured my files and everything but it seems unfinished forever TT aw well...but points for finally drawing armor!

2023 we got somewhere! Full armored and rendered and it was around a year after switching from Ibis Paintx to Procreate! I was developing my style like crazy! I even wanted to try giving him a different hair style since I loved doodling him with longer hair at the time! You can rrally start to see it all take shape! I was so proud of this! ^^

And 2024 was a magnum opus at the time! One of my best portraits! Everything fell into place he looks stunning! It was pfp on discord for a good chunk of time too! I improved greatly and it showed! Still a favorite of mine a year later! I had gotten so comfortable drawing armor around 2023 and 2024 it was a breeze to get it drawn right on him!

And now we add 2025! What a year! Looking at it all together just makes me all warm inside! Happy new years (its only a few days away at the time of me writing this lol) and here's to drawing more of my favorite man!

Tana Lex and Knockout make me sick. Lemme rant.

I made the art piece while I was reading his og comics. Tana and Knockout make me sick with how they treat him. The art piece was kinda born out of wanting to comfort him and if anyone knows what happened to him I hope it shows that it was very real. Tana and Knockout are characters that haven't really been seen since the '90s comics and it kinda makes me sick that DC would introduce them, make them treat Kon like that, then dispose of them. There are people like that in real life they don't just go away and never get brought back up. In sorts, this was almost a vent piece for how DC treats Kon. Lex his creator the man who played god clawing at him because he's always a part of him, Tana touching him in a way that looks gentle but she knows what she's doing and always has DC, and Knockout reaching for him like she's going to pull him in or throw him since she was much more aggressive. These characters' actions shouldn't be erased with such carelessness.

idk those were my thoughts while drawing I guess. I got a banger art piece out of it tho.

ALL NEW SUPERBOY #1

Yeah I just really like this peice and I thought what if I made it look like a comic cover? So I did! Tahdah!!! Conner Kent my beloved!! Very happy with this peice!!

So a couple days ago as I was delving further into my dc Superboy obsession(if you know me irl or follow my other socials you'll see I'm a huge superboy fan he's like my favorite dc character and I've been drawing him for years now even if I don't post about it) and while reading up on some more recent lore, I discovered Connie Kent. A pitch made by Magdalene Visaggio that saw Conner re-imagined as a trans woman. And I've gotta say, I love this take on my favorite character. His story of finding his own identity and choosing to make his own path instead of following in Superman's or Luthors foot steps was a perfect start to a trans story. And his character design reflects that. From a loud punk look to a hyper masculine look to now settling back into his og look, it shows someone finding their identity. I've screenshotted Connie's design as well as several snippets of the article I read (i highly recommended reading it for your self)

Reading this article and looking at the doc, it's hard not to see why Magdalene wanted to make this. It's truly a trans story. I'm someone who finds herself relating to their favorite characters, and as someone with a genderfluid identity and still figuring out who I am...I love Connie and I see myself relating to her journey ❤️

I really hope more people give Connie a chance. It's not just another genderswap or brownie points heck its not even canon since this was only a pitch, it's a well thought out examination of Superboy and who he is as a character, and what she means and represents. Magdalene truly understands Superboy as a character and her words will stick with me as i continue to enjoy Superboy content. Not to mention her design is gorgeous and I will be drawing her. Connie Kent I love you ❤️
