I will never understand how people hated themβ¦ they were children. Young girls who had been abused, groomed and manipulated by men decades older than them who took advantage of them. They were kids. Have they made mistakes? Yes, of course, we all have - but to compare their mistakes as traumatised female teenagers under the extreme misogyny of the patriarchal society HOTD is set in to the adult men who hurt them is bonkers. Iβm not talking about their adults versions right now, I think thatβs an entirely different conversation. But young Alicent & Rhaenyra were children who both suffered an outstanding amount. My favorite twins! In anticipation of the release of Volume 2 of Season 5, I drew two wizards who are ready for battle! Of course, thereβs another great sorceress-illusionist Iβll definitely draw her too! Iβm wondering if I should draw all the kids(including the older ones and Holly) as DnD characters?
How long does it usually take to finish a piece?
It depends on what exactly I'm drawing. For example, my full works with shading and background take from 12 hours to 1 day (medium detail). For instance, the portraits of the dragon daughters took me 2 days (about 4 hours per portrait).
I sketch much faster around an hour or a bit more.
At the moment, I mostly draw sketches because I have very little time for full-fledged works)))
DC or Marvel
Definitely DC. Even though I like Marvel, I'll always love DC characters much more. Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and Robin, The Flash, and many others. And damn, James Gunn is doing an amazing job with the new cinematic universe! I'm really looking forward to Supergirl! Millie looks perfect as a Kryptonian drunk πββοΈπββοΈπ₯
And Peacemaker. It's been a long time since I laughed so hard. John Cena is absolutely brilliant.
what do you think about Got and Hotd?
"House of the Dragon" was the series that opened up Martin's universe for me, because I was a bit afraid to watch "Game of Thrones"β¦ Honestly, I don't even know why, even though I knew perfectly well who the Mother of Dragons was, who Jon Snow was, and that "winter is coming." πΊπΊ
My friend recommended the show, so I watched it, hehe. I didn't understand a lot (imagine my face when Daemon and Rhaenyra kissed), but the story of Rhaenyra and Alicent captivated me - I fell in love with these heroines. I think the first season was worthy, but it seems to me it needed more episodes, especially for the second phase. Rhaenyra's return to the Red Keep with her family felt very rushed to me; I think they should have focused more on Alicent's and Rhaenyra's children during that time, showing us how their complicated relationship affected the kids. That's the only thing I didn't like. And yes, I was enchanted by the Velaryons. They look incredible. And when I found out that, according to lore, they should also have purple eyes⦠that's just perfect.
I liked the second season much less. Although the first episode made me cry (My poor mommy Rhaenyraβ¦). I really didn't like what they did with Aemond and Daemon, but I really liked Aegon's development. I'm also pleased with Rhaenyra. She's still a kind-hearted mother, not a psychotic avengerβ¦ but I expect more from her in season 3, since she has now lost two sons. Plus Harwin. No one will convince me that Rhaenyra believes it was an accident.
Game of Thrones: An incredible story, deeply developed characters, a very interesting universe⦠and the worst ending. After watching the first season of "House of the Dragon," I immediately started "Game of Thrones." Honestly⦠the first episode seemed boring until she appeared - Daenerys. My god, she looked like an angel. It was because of her that I started watching the first season with interest⦠and then another, and another⦠A week later, I realized I was starting season 3 and hadn't left the house all those days. It's a truly incredible story, and when I was told the books were better⦠it blew my mind. BETTER THAN THIS?! Wow.
Then came a decent season 5 (without my boy Bran, ugh), an okay season 6 and 7β¦ and then I just wanted to bang my head against the wall.
I don't know anything in my canon, Queen Daenerys sits on the Iron Throne. Without Jon Snow. That guy is hanging out in the North.
