The thing that really sucks but everyone is too scared to talk about is that fumbling to plug your phone charger in doesn’t even scratch your phone
this is my favourite post ever
Love this idea. The article is meh because the last point is promotion of online tools, including their own. But “critical ignoring” is killer!
Hey i’m a fashion design student so i have tons and tons of pdfs and docs with basic sewing techniques, pattern how-tos, and resources for fabric and trims. I’ve compiled it all into a shareable folder for anyone who wants to look into sewing and making their own clothing. I’ll be adding to this folder whenever i come across new resources

Updated just now with new hand sewing resources (mainly buttonholes) and textbook pdfs on fashion history, fashion illustration, and thinking through designs!
OP I owe you my life
OP you are the greatest person currently in my life. You beautiful, thoughtful creature.
A true blessing
Damn, that is useful!
love how when people go to europe they'll say the country and when people go to the usa they'll say the state and when people go to asia they'll say the country and when people go to south america they'll say the country but when people go to africa they go to africa. like ok bru. wow. the entire thing? impressive
"when my dad was in spain last summer..." ok "when i was backpacking around thailand..." cool "back when i visited florida...'" nice "my sister's in africa right now--" BROTHER WHERE
You can cut past like 90% of gender essentialism by shifting from "men are like X because they're men, and women are like Y because they're women" to "people are held to different standards, given different amounts of criticism, grace, encouragement etc based on positionality and they change and grow as a result."
You couldn’t publish this today.
You’d have to hide it under seven layers of metaphor.
Just gonna drop these here as a starting point :)
Self-care self-evaluation (find out where you’re starting)
KhanAcademy: Understanding the Self and Society (some units more relevant than others)
Social-Emotional Learning activities for kids (information can be adapted for adults)
OP: Another year has passed, time to make another natural freezer

This is brilliant but the energy sticker at the end KILLED me.🤣
this steller’s jay was spotted in california. normally, steller’s jays have a deep blue body, with a black head and neck. this bird has leucism, a genetic mutation that causes a reduction in pigments. it can present in many different ways; some birds have white patches and a ‘pied’ look, while others look faded like this bird. x
do they expect me to stop him somehow?
