It kills me that at the end of the day it wasn’t all about Arthur being the Once and Future King and uniting the lands of Albion, it was Merlin loosing his best friend who he loved more than anyone (platonic or not)
I’m also not a fan of the way Kilgarrah says (or the writers) that all they have dreamt of building has come to pass, surely that can’t be it (in the three year gap that no, we didn’t get to see) - especially if Arthur is to come back and be the Future King when Albions time is here. And what about magic? Wasn’t that being allowed in Albion part of the world he was going to build with Merlin, the greatest Sorcerer that has ever lived?? Anyway. I’ll go cry now
