To all of the fellas that have been trying to shift for years, don’t give up bro. Ik you are losing motivation or you feel hopeless but just think about the genuine happiness you will experience there and at the end, you will become aware of the fact that you’ve always have been there. I know you can do it and I trust you fam.
we need to eradicate the idea that ai is even remotely acceptable in the shifting community. i'm being so serious. why would you choose to pursue chatbots and waste our critical water resources rather than experiencing it all yourself AND MORE .................
we should also stop babying people who still use any form of ai in our community because they should, at this point, know the inherent harm it causes. you have the entire internet at your fingertips and you're gonna sit here and tell me you don't already know? yeah, alright LOL

if shifting in the starfish position is what works for you, then that’s great and you should keep doing it. if putting yourself into a “better” or less stressed mindset beforehand shows results, then do it. if everyone in the shifting community (not just shifttok) is telling you that doing xyz is counterproductive but it’s been helpful in your journey, ignore it and keep going
stop paying attention to what everyone else says and focus on yourself!!!! focus on what works for you and what gives you the most peace. nobody can truly guide you and make you shift except for you

i ask myself: how would i think, act, and see the world if i was that person who has it now? and then i feel myself easily become and embody that version of me. i let myself surrender to the state.
example: if i would want to get a A+ on a test, i would notice how im stressing about “what if i get a B?” i stop myself and just think: would the version of me who knows they have A+ think like this? would they be stressing like this? then i think of what the desired version of me would think, act, and see the world. i would think its normal to get an A+, i would act chill because i know i got an A+, i would see the world as someone who always effortlessly passes a test
tip: embody a version of you that feels it natural/normal to have what you want like i embodied the version of me who knows they always get A+ because it is normal for them.
shifting states is too easy and its instant. dont put too much pressure on it. if its “too hard” for you, realize that is only a state. youre in the state of thinking its too hard. try meditation and calm down. then allow yourself to feel as the person who has it. be it within. thats how you shift states.
also: how would the world react to that version of you? with this example, the world would see me as someone who always gets A+ so they would react to me as if i was smart and highly intelligent. allow yourself to use those questions to feel and know you are already what you want.
how to do you see yourself? what do you know about yourself? know that you are intelligent, rich, beautiful and you’ve shifted into that state.

♱ slow dancing . . . when you think nobody is around, you slow dance with the fireplace radiating heat. as rain softly hits the windows surrounding you, you begin to believe that life cannot get much calmer than this
♱ rooftops . . . you sneak out of the manor late into the night when you think bruce has left for patrol, choosing to venture into the city and find a rooftop to sit down on. you two talk for hours, even when you know bruce is watching
♱ gala . . . matching outfits at one of bruce's galas, sparking nonstop rumours from the press — with no response from bruce's representatives, obviously ("is gotham's richest bachelor, bruce wayne, finally a father-in law?! we have the inside scoop!")
♱ scarves . . . borrowing his scarf when you fail to dress appropriately for the weather, and to your surprise, he doesn't mind if you keep it
♱ subtle . . . all of your touches in the public eye must be subtle. when you're studying in gotham university's library, your knees touch just enough to send sparks down your spine. similarly, you touch each other's hands just subtly enough when sitting in the manor's living room that no one takes notice. yet, it is enough to cause a blush to rise on your cheeks
♱ annotation . . . passing annotated books back and forth, with notes specifically meant for one another. after implementing this unspoken system (which arose from your two-person book club you created), you read sixteen books in one month
♱ ferris wheel . . . before you go on patrol that night, you attend the fair that's currently in gotham. before you leave, you choose to go onto the ferris wheel so that you can have that classic couple experience (even though you secretly hate that stupid ride). to your surprise (and distaste), you get stuck at the top
♱ it's just a dream . . . as if in tandem, you two dream of a life where there is no crime, no suffering, no relentless mission for something greater. only happiness, only tranquility, only peace. this is a life you know you both will never be able to achieve, but you allow the dream to linger for just a few minutes longer. in another life, you get to experience this together
♱ miniature portrait . . . they keep a miniature portrait of your eyes on their person constantly, never daring to forget it or leave it at home. their most treasured possession
♱ mona lisa . . . you know how much they love art, considering that their own artwork lines the walls of your room. thus, when you are finally able to travel as a couple (albeit, on what bruce calls "official wayne family business" to you both), you plan an entire day surrounding the best art museums you can find. to the happiness of your lover, they promise to give this back to you tenfold
♱ desire pollen . . . while he's on a takedown with bruce, you patrol the city with tim. over the comms, bruce makes it sound like everything is normal and ivy is now in custody at arkham. weirdly enough, though, your lover does not sound as typically composed and stoic. you later discover, after he requests you meet him at the manor, that he inhaled some of ivy's desire pollen
♱ cuts and bruises . . . taking care of each other's cuts and bruises after a long, hard night of patrol. the criminals you dealt with were not playing around that night, so you both spend the early morning hours tending to the various cuts, bruises, and grime now littering your bodies. a bonding activity, you tell yourself

♱ vampire . . .
whether it be my obsession with vampires in this reality (i have multitudes of vampire lore books, limited editions of dracula, and a growing collection of nosferatu items) or being an actual vampire, i remain eternally consistent in my devotion to the vampyre. even when i'm not explicitly a turned vampire, having any otherworldly reality means scripting that vampires are real and/or that i face constant vampire rumours (such as in my marauders reality, pesky lower years). my pale skin and hatred for the sun doesn't help the rumours in this reality, either
♱ figure skating . . .
every canadian hears the silly stereotype that we're born with blades on our feet and we drink bagged milk (which literally isn't true for anywhere other than ontario, by the way). skating is a really popular activity obviously as a result, and i remember intently my mom (who was a figure skater) that she wished she could've put me into figure skating. that began my love for watching figure skating competitions (i love you yuna kim and alexandra trusova) and my curret obsession with figure skating. in every reality, i am an innately talented figure skater who could've made it big
♱ pho restaurants . . .
i would be lying to you if i said that i don't eat pho at least once a week. during the summer, i was averaging a solid three times a week. the restaurant that sells pho where i live has the BEST pho ever (for a small town, it's honestly a miracle we have a place) and i fell in love with a pho restaurant when i traveled to toronto this past summer, as well. in no circumstances would i be able to survive without having pho available to me everywhere i go. that means that in my marauders reality, hogsmeade has the greatest pho restaurant ever and my batfamily member reality has a great place in walkable distance to gotham university
♱ magic . . .
somewhat similar to constantly having vampire themes permeating my existence, i am imbued with magic in every single reality. in majority of my realities, such as my arcane or six of crows, i am a homo magi - a seemingly "human" being with magic flowing through their veins. i steal much of zatanna's memo in my realities, i must report. in my less fantastical realities, i am an expert at sleight-of-hand and card tricks like nobodies business. in my blackpink reality, i would hold magic shows during vlives and teach magic tricks to blinks. you cannot find valerie lovelace and magic without one another - they're synonymous, with magic wrapped around her heart. take it away, i die !
♱ my cats . . .
in my current reality, i have my three cats that i love so much. my first one is five years old, my second is three (almost four), and my third is only three-ish months. all are named after various cities (whether still existing or not. . . ). each of them hold such a special place in my heart, and i can't imagine going through life in any circumstance, any reality, any surroundings without them with me. they have been foundational in making me, me ! there is no reality where i am not a crazy cat lady with my two daughters and my son

hi, for those who don’t know me, my name is beau and i have shifted, manifested, went to the void, astral projected, everything you can imagine at this point. i want to help my fellow beautiful beings to also achieve this because shifting, and everything else, found you for a reason. us, in the sense of the big sisters of the “shifting community” and such, aren’t here to brag about what we have achieved, we are here to help you achieve it as well and let you know it will be achieved. please know there are countless ways to reach the void state, but this is one of them, and i have used many, what works for some, might for you, or might not. i personally use some other methods to get into the void that i can share as well, but i saw some of these ideas on other pages, and decided to give a 101 on getting to the void for baby shifters and manifesters. i will be making more void method posts and etc on how i personally achieve the void state later, but this is “what most people” do, so here it is. everything is different for everyone. so, without further ado, let’s get started on today’s post!

first off
what is the void state?
the void state is a deep meditative state in which you are nothing but your own consciousness. in the void, you are completely detached from the 3d, the physical world that our eyes and brains present to us. you are nobody with no physical form and attachments. you simply are. which is why some people also use the “i am” method for getting to the void state, because in this state, you just are. the void state is one that can be accessed by anyone, or can be reached by anyone, because that is our true form.
confusing? i know, i was too. let me explain a bit deeper. entering the void state is actually a very ancient technique used by the ones before us, to get to our true state, which is the void state. in beliefs like hinduism, buddhism, and other secular traditions, the goal of the void state is to remove illusion(s) and transcend our ego so we can reach the void state itself, our true nature and essence.
when entering the void state, you are transcending your ego and entering back into the consciousness of your soul, where all is one. that’s where the “you just are” or “you are nothingness” comes from. because that’s what you literally are. everything and nothing all at once. the void state is the state of our true essence, where you just are, to say in very short terms. it’s good to understand what your going into, so it’s easier to be in. if this is confusing, you can find some videos to help if needed!

how does one enter the void state?
here is a simple method to get you in the void state, but keep in mind it is you ultimately who is the one achieving the goal of being in that state, the same applies to shifting. it isn’t the method, it’s you. stop giving it all the credit.
1. play a subliminal, black/white noise, or theta waves (optional) i personally enjoy subliminals. one that many say is good is let go - enter the void state by someone i forgot the name of. just put that in search in the first one you see is most likely the one i’m talking about.
by having background noise, this can keep you focused and keep you from sleeping in the middle of your method.
2. set intention. this is an important step most people just skip because they think its pointless because your doing a method. it’s not pointless. and it works much better than you might perceive. for me personally, the way i like to do most things is just set intention, but for new shifters, or others, putting in some effort might seem good, which is why you can do this step by step if wanted.
intention can be as simple as “i will enter the void”. just saying that. it can be that simple. but let it be strong, and let go. letting go, in the sense that you let it happen. do not force anything. everything will fall into place, because it has for others and me. it will for you as well. do not force the void, just let go and trust that you will enter it.
3. get in a comfortable position. i personally like to just lay down as if i’m going to sleep on something comfortable! i love using my bed, all the time, but if you prefer something different that is completely fine as well.
4. relax your body. many people like to skip right to the “counting” and the thousand sayings of “i am”. no. just, be. you just are, so act that way. relax your body. yes i know it’s easier said than done, but you can do it. focus on your breath, and relax your body well. this might take a couple minutes, so don’t rush it. in order to enter the void, you must be calm.
5. keep on focusing on breath and being calm until you feel symptoms. what are symptoms? for those who don’t know, they are the effects of shifting or doing methods. they aren’t aftereffects, they are effects that happen in the present moment, but do not be afraid, they don’t hurt, for me personally feel good, and mean that you are almost there. do not get too excited though since this can bring your state of focus and calmness down. just let symptoms pass through and let them be. you are entering the void right now, symptoms don’t matter, they’re just there. you might feel tingly, numbness on your full body or certain areas, lightness or floating, heaviness, etc.
this is a state that is called SAT, or state akin to sleep. you will have urges to itch certain areas, roll over, or move a lot, but do not. moving is okay, but it can feel as if you have lost progress, so it is better to not move for the sake of progress and feeling calm and centered. just ignore these symptoms and urges as best you can and focus on your breathing and the void itself.
6. continuation. as you get closer to the void, it can be different for everyone, you can affirm, repeating affirmations such as
- “i am in the void”
- “i am pure consciousness”
- “i am the void”
- “the void is my true nature”
etc
when affirming it is important to at least try and believe or believe fully on what you are saying. of course it is different for everyone though. but from my perspective, if you don’t understand what you’re saying, why are you saying it? so if anyone wants any explanations on affirmations and certain ones feel free to ask and i may make a post on those as well.
you may also visualize. no. not your dr. i know it’s a urge, some people use the void, as do i, to shift to my dr, but when your doing a method to go to the void, you stay loyal. your going to the void, not your dr. do not skip steps, go to the void first, then, in the void, you may shift there if wanted. i like to visualize my consciousness flying in somewhere like space and try to envelop myself as my consciousness, which is what we all are and what i am. remember, consciousness does not look like like a human. conscious just is, it does not take our form. i like to visualize my consciousness as a floating ball of light with sparkles around it! mine is a mix of blue and yellow since it helps me connect with everything about myself and my dr selfs more, along with the void.
you may also visualize yourself, your current self, sitting in a meditative position, with a light going out your forehead, and has you breath and focus, that light either envelopes your body, or dims, and then brightens again. you can use whatever feels right to you.
keep doing this until you are in the void.

how do you know if you’re in the void?
good question, my pupil. honestly, for me and for others, you usually just know. but for anyone new, it can be different. ultimately, it is different for everyone, but you feel a sense of calmness and understanding wash over you. you are usually in a fully pitch black setting. you can also feel a sense of calmness and nothingness, or just nothingness. since that’s what the void is. nothingness.
again, my starlights, the key to doing anything, is to just let go. i know that’s confusing, but it doesn’t have to be. letting go is trusting yourself that you will have the outcome you desire and deserve. that is letting go. it’s letting your conscious do the work for you, because ultimately, you don’t have to. that’s my personal method. but anyways, shifting and entering the void state, manifesting, and all things linked to that are yours. do what you please with it because it’s yours.
some people make things like “entering the void state” super complicated. even the things i said could be complicated and confusing. it doesn’t have to be. that’s why i tried making it simple, and i really hoped that helped. it’s all simple. it really is as easy as breathing, and you will found out that soon!
