I played “Monster Hunter Worlds” a while back, though unfortunately I just couldn’t get into it so I stopped playing after a few hours. Still, I managed to have some fun in the opening scene: during character creation I ended up making a pale young woman with scraggy brown hair and a gaunt face with the darkest circles under her eyes possible. She looked like the most dead-tired person ever and I named her “Mattress”.
I didn’t take any screenshots (because I don’t know how) but here’s a comic I sketched up of how I imagined her thoughts during the opening scene:

This is a mostly tongue-in-cheek comic of my overall reaction to the “Angel Hare” analog horror series. Originally started as a rough sketch posted on my Tumblr, I decided one day to color it, but ended up pretty much re-drawing it completely. Still, it was a good opportunity to try different coloring and lineart techniques.
