Hello I thought i already made this post but i guess i forgot to pin it or maybe didn't post it cause i can't find it.

I got 3 days before my gas bill is due (January 23rd 2016) . It isn't life or death but we do use the stove and hot water every single day and it would be a problem if we stopped being able to. It is $60. If someone would like a meme or a nude or a not so great drawing or a picture of my pet or anything in exchange I'll happily do whatever I can. Please help us!

I also have Zelle and Facebook pay and I'll so anything else you can offer I'll even make an account if I have to. It's probably too late for this option but I'll even accept cash or checks in the mail if that's all you can do.

My best Disneyland Attraction Tournament polls will be pinned to my aesthetic blog @confusingandbeautiful until I can get help

slander! Did any potentates steal the barley on his watch????

They did not.

saw a radfem post about how there's no female version of emasculation. bestie yes there is

"masculinity is empowering and dominant and femininity is degrading and restrictive. there's no humiliating way of being stripped of chains" i want you to look women of color & disabled women in the eyes and tell them this. that there is no humiliating way to be stripped of your womanhood.

people are reblogging this again so I wanna add that on top of women of color and disabled women you can also just talk to trans men&mascs and nonbinary and intersex people raised female about this.

it's very funny to me whenever people who insist they are the final voice for Trve Feminism and have such an accurate understanding of misogyny, also completely ignore how much the cover-up of the violent policing of failed womanhood plays a role in patriarchy. babe stop believing everything the patriarchy says!!!!! IT IS LYING TO US CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!!

lots of good talk in the notes of different ways different groups are affected by this (lets call it unwomaning, but feel free to workshop lol). but! i want to prompt us to go a little deeper. clearly, this does happen, and it happens to a lot of different people. so how can people - and not just any people, but feminists - claim it doesn't? why does nearly everyone understand the concept of emasculation, but unwomaning is a non-topic?

ill talk about my own ideas later, but i wanna hear yall discuss this!

God yes, I have tried to talk about this for years about how unwomanning doesn't automatically result in manning- as in, it doesn't go "You're not a [Real] Woman thus you are a Man thus you get treated... Better!" It's "You're not a [Real, Human] Woman thus you are a thing/animal/monster... Worse yet, you are an animal impersonating a [Real, Human] Woman, so you should first be punished for the impertinence of pretending to be a [Real, Human] Woman, and then given the same punishments as society gives to the worst-kinds-of-Women"

Me and a couple of mates who had very different experiences of gendering-within-Womanning growing up (as in, Gendering within the process of society trying to turn an undifferentiated child into first a Girl then a Woman), about how a thing that could be very liberating for one group of people-being-forcibly-womanned, to say "I am not a Woman, I am a mammal (i can be hairy! I can bleed! I seek warmth!), animal (strong), flesh and blood (not Mystical and Mysterious), wild (free)" which was also exactly the way that another group of people-being-forcibly-womanned were oppressed (ie, told "You are not a Woman, you are a mammal (gross, leaky, hairy), animal (inhuman), just flesh and blood (lacking the Divine Feminine), wild (uncivilised and untrainable)".

So much of how Black women were abused under slavery in Europe and the Americas and the Caribbean, and how Romani women were abused under slavery in Romania and Austrohungary and the surrounding areas, dug into this idea of being simultaneously Women And Not Women, Unwomanned, etc... (And the same thing will have happened in the rest of the world, just in our little group that was the people we had!)

The specific nightmare of "(imperial) Patriarchy insists that you must aspire to be a woman... but also that some facet of your body/identity means you can never BE a WOMAN either" is just hard to talk about.

But that's where I ended up getting the words girling/womanning and boying/manning as well as unwomanning/ungirling etc from, too.

Hi! Do we know how dan celebrated his 19th bday?

oh my god anon if you didn't know this. you're going to need to sit down because it's a lot to process the first time you hear it.

first a reminder that he spent his 18th birthday alone in his room watching phil's space adventure video (featuring pj, bryony, and lex) as a fan

daniel howell celebrated his 19th birthday in LA after being personally invited by xbox and flown to E3...with his boyfriend amazingphil and friends, pj, bryony, and lex

Thinking about when one of the reporters who helped report the original podcast exposing Neil Gaiman put out a vague piece about how she never wanted a "blanket cancellation" of him and that wasn't her goal without really saying what her goal was. Like it was written in such a weaselly way you knew something else was going on

And then it turned out every other thing she's written was uh. Different:

Whining about how "woke" sexual harassment policies ruined office Christmas parties

Defiantly saying that she stands with male celebs accused of sexual harassment

Publishing the exact same Christmas party whining in 2025. She does this every year

Boris Johnson's sister: "I'm only joining the quest to expose Neil Gaiman in the hope the woke lefties rally around him and defend him! Just like we do to our men!"

Woke Lefties: "Wow, what a monster! We'll drop him immediately."

Boris Johnson's sister: "I didn't...I didn't want...not being able to harass secretaries is ruining the office Christmas party, innit?"

"i would kill a pedophile to protect my child" ok but would you teach your child how to say no? even to adults? even to adults you like? would you teach your child the words "penis" and "vulva" and then use them? would you let them ask questions about their body? would you answer them honestly? would you learn how to cope with your feelings when you talk about human bodies, so they don't feel ashamed? would you set a positive example for how you talk about your body? would you tell your child they don't have to hug or kiss anyone? would you tell your family the same? would you stand by them when they refuse to hug someone? even someone you know has never done anything to hurt them? would you let your child avoid food they don't like? would you let you child avoid people they don't like? would you believe them? would you sit in the discomfort of not knowing all the answers and not take it out on them? would you love your child the same if someone did hurt them? would you make them feel valued just as they are? would you let them talk to doctors or nurses in private? would you let them express their feelings? would you show interest in their life? would you let your child say no to you? would you help your child feel safe coming to you when they make a mistake? would you apologize to your child? would you believe them? would you put aside your anger to focus on what would make your child feel safe and loved? would you put your ego aside for your child? would you take your child's concerns seriously? would you listen to your child? would you believe them?
