There was that place called Flat Patties, in Harvard Square, and every time I was near there I would go and get two plates of cheese fries and one of onion rings... They were so good. So greasy... So lovely!

Then the building-owner tried to raise the rent and they left. This was somewhen around 2019. I'll never get over it!

There was this one thai place at the food court in a North Vancouver mall that had Tom Yum Soup.

It was a bit salty and very spicy, and very different to every other Tom Yum Soup I've ever had elsewhere which is more sour. It closed down years ago and every other Tom Yum Soup I've ever had is the sour gross type, so it must be that this place made it wrong, but in doing so, made it right.
