I use 2FA on every website I log into, and it didn't ask for any details when I took the survey, but I still don't trust that thing at all. One can never be too safe.

to be clear, the one that is a scam is the one that asks for your Discord login information. there is a legitimate one that does not ask for ANY information and that one is a legitimate qualtrics survey from Discord. make sure you always check sites and links before you click on them fellas!

The legit survey has been closed down as of yesterday.

The phishing scam is taking advantage of the high emotions about AI, but if anything online asks for your login info (that is not on the actual verified website that belongs to that login that you navigated to yourself (not a link from an email or post!)), that is a huge sign to STOP.

it is so important to me that you recognize that healthcare workers still do have functioning olfactory systems. They don't gouge out their noses once they reach certification.

Mr. Digby does not have access to facilities to take care of himself. He smells. It's ok. He himself probably knows that he smells. Expecting him not to smell would be stupid. He doesn't have consistent access to running water to bathe or relieve himself. People who do have access to supplies to clean themselves still manage to smell wrank. No one is blaming him.

Human beings react to smell. If you are minding your business at work and suddenly smell something unpleasant. You react. Even over time, with experience, your nose still functions! Crazy, i know. You can be trained to be more respectful with your response to things (i.e. antoine's "im not a wash and detail service" comment directly in front of the patient is poor taste) but expecting people not to be shocked because they're healthcare workers is unreasonable.

also the deliberateness of, “I have an addiction to benzos” vs “I had an addiction to benzos.”

I’m so glad that The Pitt is doing so well and growing its audience and fandom. But with that comes people who just blurt out opinions without thinking critically or recognizing that this is a TV show that releases an episode each week, not dropping them in chunks.

Making huge statements about the nature of the show like “the pitt is treating homeless people like garbage” and “they are mandatory reporters, there’s no grey area” when there’s only been one episode? They drag these storylines out because real-time medicine is the nature of the show.

Mr. Krakozhia (The Kraken) is portrayed as a difficult and awful patient that nobody wants to touch. His storyline results in Whitaker joining the street team. The Pitt writers do not hate drug addicts or difficult patients. They portray the realism of how doctors and nurses might view these patients as pests/tasks, even if they shouldn’t. This is likely the same thought process with the homeless patient.

The David storyline does resolve at the end because McKay overrides Robby to report him to the police. It’s not because The Pitt writers don’t understand mandatory reporting. They wanted to show their main character being wrong, misogynistic, and coming to that realization. Similarly, Kylie storyline will probably end in a report to CPS. It’s only been 30 minutes since Santos has evaluated her. No labs or tests have been analyzed. They aren’t going to make a snap decision without treating the patient.

Anyway, I think the issue is we have become so accustomed to binging episodes because streaming rarely follows a weekly release schedule.

thank you for this post. not an expert, but I do work in medicine—my second thought about the bruising after the girl denied being abused was that she could have leukemia or another blood disorder that’s causing her to bleed like crazy from ordinary soccer injuries. checking labs before making a CPS report is perfectly reasonable. it’s not like she’s in immediate danger in the ER.
