@ordonian-rancher

Hi! I'm Link! Just a simple Ordonian! CURRENTLY: Leaving the Forest Temple

Ooc Intro Post!

Hi y'all, I've decided that, unlike my other blogs, this one needs some organization! He'll be going through his adventure!

This blog is Twilight Princess Link before his adventure! It will start as canon compliant, but that will change eventually! (Originally, I was going to plan everything out, but I think y'all are able to influence his story! So, keep that in mind, LMAO!)

And, if you ever want to know what's going on, I make sure to update his description to describe what he's doing.

There's also all these tags (That I hopefully remember I set up lmao)

Tag organization! (Under the cut!)

*A small orange-and-blue bird flies over, but stops in mid-air as it sees a wolf instead of a person. It don’t know what to do.

*Oddly enough, it doesn’t try to communicate. …Other than flying, it also doesn’t seem to know how to be a bird, either, as it slowly moves closer.

Hi, bird! Animal speak not good.

*The bird comes closer at the sight of the wolf pelt, recognizing it and trusting the wolf won’t attack. It seems startled by the use of language, but doesn’t speak back. It seems to try to tweet, but no sound comes out. As if expecting that, the bird switches to more of a whistling sound. It’s hard for Kid to get even a sense of what the bird is trying to communicate, if anything at all.

[He tilts his head, clearly confused. He decides to lower himself to the ground as much as possible so he's hopefully less intimidating to this tiny little bird.]

*The bird does seem somewhat intimidated, but not that afraid of Kid. It lands on the ground in front of him, though that doesn’t to appear to have been its preferred spot. It just seems to want to rest its wings.

*Wind blows through the area, making the small bird almost seem to get blown away.

*…..It really does seem quite new at being a bird. Strange.

[Hmm... He should try asking!]

New bird?

[He then motions to himself with his snout.]

New wolf!

*The bird seems to nod — as much as it can, anyway, with how much fluff it has — in response to the question. At least he knows it can understand him.

*The bird seems to get an idea, flying just enough above the sandy ground that it can reach with its toes. It starts to drag lines into the sand, and—

*That’s a language. This bird can write.

[He tilts his head and moves around the writing in many different angles to try and read this writing. But he can't decipher what this could possibly say.]

[Eventually he lays back down with a defeated huff.]

*The bird seems disappointed, but not surprised. It makes lines over what it wrote, effectively erasing it.

*It seems to give up on whatever it was doing, though, as it then proceeds to land on Kid’s pelt, shuffling to bury itself in the warm fur.

[He makes a small content sound.]

Friend.

[He deliberately ignores the fact that he's supposed to be doing things right now. Getting a sword and shield can wait.]

*The bird gives a pleased whistle, the same inclinations of somebody happily exclaiming ‘yay! Friend!’. It clearly likes being friends.

*It whistles a song almost like a lullaby, though it’s clearly not exactly a singer. It is trying its best, though.

[He doesn't mind if the song isn't perfect. He seems to be enjoying. He even joins in with howling. He makes sure to keep his howling as quiet as he can.]

*The bird seems to like when Kid joins in, whistling as loud as it can — which, while decently loud, wouldn’t be enough to make the noise reach the village. In fact, it wouldn’t even reach Kid’s house.

[Kid is having a good time, himself. He keeps his howling quiet because the village will hear him if he goes too much louder, but seeing this little bird have fun is enough to make him happy.]

[He's known this bird for ten minutes but if anything happened to it he would kill everyone and everything.]

*The bird eventually ends the song with a warbling note, taking to the air again. It noticeably stays away from Kid’s mouth, even though it likes the wolf.

*The bird whistles again, a bright, happy note to show its joy. It flies in a circle, too excited to keep still.

[Kid spins around in a happy circle, mirroring Birdie's excited movements.]

*The bird draws on the ground, this time, it seems to be an attempt at a portrait of the two of them. It’s not very good, but it’s still a wolf and a bird. There’s even a music note above them.

[He seems very happy by this drawing.]

Pretty!

[He attempts to draw with his paw, but it ends up a mess.]

Hi, bird! Animal speak not good.

*a strange hole appears and out walks a black cat with a purple and black scarf and a bunny hood*

Meow…

*the cat begins to pull several items out of the hood*

Avatar

[Kid, now a wolf, stares back rather confused at this random cat. He's at least mostly healed now, but he definitely has a couple nasty scars.]

Avatar

Pulls out a rupee and points to it, then points at the items and meows

[He tilts his head. He... Thinks he understood that..?]

Understand?

Nod

Buy something! It helps pay for therapy for those in need!

[He starts to inspect each item that is sitting there.]

Anything catch your eye?

[After a few minutes of inspecting, he shakes his head.]

Anonymous asked:

*A grey wolf with white markings on its head pulls itself out of a hole in the dirt at the bars of your cage, there wasn’t a hole there before, it must’ve dug it itself. The markings look exactly the same as the ones Twilight has, so maybe it’s him? The wolf looks worried, using the knowledge from being with Wild of mastering human-like facial expressions as a wolf*

Are ya okay, Kid? Ordana, why am I even asking, of course you’re not okay. Not only is this your first transformation, but ya got stabbed, too. I’m gonna transform back and grabs red potion from my bag, can ya drink it or do ya need me to pour it on the wound? Ya can just nod if ya haven’t figured out language as a wolf yet, it takes some getting used to the form ‘fore ya can talk to other animals.

*He waits for your response before transforming, he doesn’t want to miss it in the cloud of Twilight magic that surrounds him in the transformation*

(Green is in wolf language, so humans can’t understand it. Except Twilight in his human form due to the number of times he’s transformed leading to him gaining wolf traits in his human form, such as his smell and hearing)

[His gaze is distant. As you begin to speak, his eyes flick to you, but they barely seem to process anything. He opens his mouth to explain, but all that comes out is a sad whine that's easily translated to "hurts." He looks extremely confused.]

Avatar

Shit, you're worse off than I thought.

*He mutters under his breath, but it’s not quiet enough for your canine ears that still pick it up*

Hang on, Kid. I’m just going to turn back into a human and pour some red potion on that wound of yours, okay?

*Worst comes to worst, he’ll just ask Midna for help when she shows up.

The wolf is engulfed in black squares that feel like the magic in the black wall before Twilight stand up where the wolf had been. He digs around in his bag for a few seconds before pulling out a bottle filled with red potion, which he quickly uncaps before kneeling on the ground.*

I’m going to have to roll you over to get to the wound, okay?

*His voice is soft, combining with his body language in a way so clearly non-threatening you can’t help but relax slightly. He had phrased the prior sentence as a question, but he doesn’t wait for your response before rolling you over onto your back and pouring red potion over the wound on your chest*

[As you pour the red potion, you notice a bit late that there are quite a few rocks and dirt embedded into the wound.]

[....Right. Kid was dragged here.]

[He whimpers as the potion hits his wound. It stings.]

*He stops as soon as he notices the rocks and dirt in the wound. He curses himself in his mind for forgetting that the kid had been dragged here.

He puts the cap back on the red potion and digs through his bag, looking for some alcohol or other disinfectant. He pulls out a bottle with clear liquid and uncaps it before smelling it, recoiling at the strength of the ethanol’s smell. It was of a strength reserved for cleaning, too strong for anyone to drink safely.

Twilight then pulls out a cloth and pours some of the ethanol onto it*

This is gonna sting a bit, brace yerself, kid.

*He waits a second to make sure his words were heard before bring the alcohol-soaked cloth to the kid’s wound, dragging it over in small areas and getting out as much of the dirt and rocks as he can. He goes through multiple cloths before Twilight declares the wound cleaned, not wanting the dirty cloth to just return the dirt to the wound, and end up emptying a large portion of the bottle. He puts the bottle to the side so he can soak bandages in the rest of the liquid after he finishes healing his younger self before grabbing the red potion again*

Okay, the wounds cleaned now, kid. I’m sorry I forgot to get it cleaned, it must’ve hurt for me to have to reopen the healed parts of the wound over the dirt and rocks to get them out.

[With every time a cloth meets Kid's open wound comes a howl, whimper, or whine of pain. A couple times, he ends up growling. His limbs twitch, and it's clear he's restraining himself. He understands he's being helped.]

[By the time Twilight is done with that, Kid is a whimpering mess on the floor.]

*Before Twilight starts pouring the red potion on Kid’s wound, he moves his hand up to Kid’s head and starts scratching behind his ears*

*Yer doin’ so well, Kid. I just have to pour on th’ red potion ‘nd I’ll be done outside o’ wrappin’ th’ wound in bandages ‘f it needs it.

*His accents slipping out with his worry. A few seconds after he says this, the entire time had had been scratching behind Kid’s ears to try and calm him down, Twilight pulls his hand away and starts pouring red potion on the wound. By the time he finishes, the wound has closed up, but it will still need to not be aggravated for at least a day, and be wrapped in bandages*

[Kid is starting to looking much better. As the wound starts to close, his eyes start to clear up and he starts to really take in his surroundings.]

[Where... Is he..? Why does his body feel so weird?]

[He tries to push himself up with his front paws, immediately forgetting the wound on his left shoulder. When it starts to ache, he lifts all weight from his left shoulder and arm, and awkwardly shuffles to a seating position with the help of only his right arm.]

[Twilight looks so big... Why does he look so big?]

*He notices Kid’s confusion at his current form, catching on and explaining it as best he can while still keeping it relatively brief*

Ya must be pretty confused right ‘bout now, huh Kid? Don’t worry too much, ya got pulled into the part of Hyrule that’s been overtaken by the Twilight realm, so ya were turned into your animal form. It’s some blessing from Hylia to her heroes, instead of us turnin’ into shadow beasts. So, yer a wolf for now. It’s not permanent though, so don’t worry about bein’ stuck like this.

*He reaches over and scratches behind Kid’s ears again, noticing the wound on his shoulder*

Wait— your shoulder was hurt too? One sec, I should have another red potion in my bag, though ya should be able to just drink this one.

[He shakes his head, which looks kind of goofy as a wolf. His shoulder looks just fine, it just has a new scar. Instead his licks his elbow, revealing the knife he was stabbed with sticking out of his left elbow.]

…Ah.

*He pulls his hand off Kid’s head, reluctantly. He then grabs the bottle of alcohol and the cleanest piece of cloth he has after cleaning out Kid’s chest wound, keeping them close before reaching close to the knife, not touching it yet to avoid jostling it until he pulls it out*

Okay, I’m gonna pull the knife out then clean out the wound. This’ll probably hurt, so brace yourself.

*He doesn’t even know how the knife stayed in the wound through the transformation. Or had it been stabbed in while the kid was a wolf? It doesn’t matter for now, he can take care of the kid then figure out the logistics.

Twilight presses his right hand against Kid’s leg, holding it in place as he carefully grabs the knife with his left and pulls it out in a clean, swift motion. He sets the knife aside, then grabs the cloth and soaks it in ethanol and cleans the wound. It’s a much quicker process than the other one, due to it being a clean stab without any dirt or rocks, but it will still need a red potion since Twilight has more. He’ll just need to restock after this*

[Kid can't help but let out a growl of pain as the knife is pulled out. The alcohol stings at his wound. Thankfully, Kid is able to restrain himself from thrashing like he currently wants to do.]

Don’t worry Kid, the worst of it is over. Now, do ya want to drink the red potion, or should I pour it on the wound?

*He uncaps a second bottle of red potion he dug out of his bag, holding it out to Kid. His other hand drifts to Kid and he starts petting him, from the top of his head down his back before restarting*

[He grips the potion bottle with his teeth and tilts his head back, drinking the potion on his own.]

[Oh man, potions taste way worse as a wolf. The moment he's done drinking, he drops the potion and makes very unhappy sounds.]

Yeah, those do taste pretty bad, don’t they.

*He has a slight laugh as he says this, trying to make the conversation more light hearted. He puts his bottles and cloths back in his bag before reaching under his shirt, you aren’t sure what he’s getting.

He seems to find what he was reaching for before Twilight is engulfed once again in black squares and Twili magic, leaving a wolf that looks almost exactly like you, not that you know what you look like yet, in his place.

The wolf walks right up to you and starts to lick your fur, cleaning it. It seems like something you’ve seen cats do, but you can’t help but feel safe with the older wolf cleaning your fur and curling around you, blocking you from view outside the cell*

[Kid finds himself relaxing with each lick. It feels kind of weird but also natural? Well, he's a wolf right now, so maybe that's messed with what feels normal? Not that he minds. He likes the comfort Twilight is providing right now. Especially after that horrible start to his adventure.]

*Twilight just rests there, continuing to lick Kid even after he deems his fur clean seeing how relaxed the kid feels with the repetitive motion. He seems to stay in the moment, just focusing on you.

His ears stay turned to the hall outside the cell door, however. He needs to be ready if anyone comes up behind you, after all. It never happened to him, but who knows what’ll happen if the Kid’s quest had already gone differently from his own*

[A familiar presence suddenly appears behind you. Kid backs up, his ears low and body instinctively ready to pounce. He's growling at whoever's there.]

*He perks up at the presence, recognizing Midna just by her magic. He faces Kid, doing his best to calm him down*

Kid, this is Midna. She helped me on my quest, was one of my closest friends by the end of it. She’s not a threat, not to you at least. Okay?

[When kid tries to speak, his language is very broken, but the gist of it is there.]

...Sure? Feels... Dark... Unwelcome.

[Meanwhile, Midna seems rather baffled.]

Two of you? Seriously? I was already dreading dealing with one doggy!

That’d be the Twili magic, it has a similar origin to dark magic, so it would feel similar, especially since ya haven’t been around it much.

*He turns to Midna’s voice, mirth in his eyes at the quip about him being there. The next second, Twilight is covered in the dark squares of Twili magic before standing up as a human. He makes sure the shadow crystal is tucked between his tunic and undershirt before facing Midna* Hey, Midna.

*He has a smile in his voice, far different from the bittersweet tone it would have been if a portal hadn’t been opened by Legend and Hilda before this, allowing him to see her again. He has an actual smile on his face too, the teeth showing through giving a small glimpse of the extended canines he has from his wolf form, the only physical trait of it in his human form aside from his facial markings*

And you are..?

Oh, who am I kidding, you're not supposed to be here, second doggy.

[She moves over to Kid, resting an arm on his head like an arm rest. Her touch makes him involuntarily flinch.]

This one is the one I want!

...Oh, but he's injured. I'm sure that won't ever become a problem.

I’m Kid’s future self, but a different version. I’m not sure how it’s happened yet, but his quest’s already gone worse than mine, since I wasn’t injured when I was brought here.

Leave him alone, Midna. Ya don’t have to use him as an arm rest to talk to him, especially since he’s been injured.

*He turns from Midna to Kid, worry in his eyes*

I have to leave now, I’d cause too many issues with where your destination right this moment is. Will ya be alright, or is there anythin’ ya want me to do before I leave? I think the two red potions were enough for your injuries, but I’d rather make sure while I’m here.

[Kid lets out a low whimper. He doesn't seem very happy with the prospect of being left alone, but he understands. This isn't his older self's journey.]

[He's going to... Have to stay with this... Midna person. Twilight seemed to trust her... So he'll give her a chance.]

Understand?

Nod

Buy something! It helps pay for therapy for those in need!
