Some Mettaton TvTIME! era. The next is yapping about the idea i have for the ship context (?)
In this AU, Metta is accidentally transported to the Dark Worlds and decides to stay in TV World for a while. In love with his new body and with the opportunity to start his life all over, he takes the position of co-host, immersing himself in the entertainment world for the first time. He also helps by giving new show ideas and making some renovations to the set. Little by little, his roots grow in the place, and he finds fewer reasons to return to the real world, even as his time begins to run out.
Tenna is finding comfort in his new company. After the events of episode three, his self-esteem is at rock bottom, and confusion reigns in the studio after the move. Everything is a bit chaotic, but at least he has Metta to give him some purpose. He still can't fully understand what place the lightner holds in his heart; it doesn't seem to be the replacement for the dremurs he expected, but he can't get it out of his head either.
This isn't the first or last form Metta takes upon entering the dark world. But I'll save those designs for another occasion.
