it's really insane that we've been speculating here and there about how people in their actual life perceives them and i don't think we ever expected to know because it's their private life. but they straight up just acknowledged that they are seen as a married couple (even if heteronormatively by some). like. oh my god. they just told us.

everything I hear about Dan’s childhood makes me want to murder someone, because wdym the kids at his school threw literal fucking knives at him. wdym people fucking choked him. wdym he was uninvited to a party so that he could be rejected and humiliated on speakerphone in front of the entire class when he was TEN. like I know british schools are just fucking Like That, but jfc his town seemed to just actively hate him for no reason.
