uni life is.. startling.
winter break went by in the blink of an eye..
it’s time to cram for no less than six exams!
i haven’t started writing fanfiction though i must say i felt uninspired to do so,
maybe that will change,
and when it does i hope it will bring me, and not only me, joy.
i will temporarily be offline so that i pass these pesky exams!
i’ll miss you all so much!
see you soon,
i’ll keep byler in my heart till then…
oh, yes, it’s still painful but they’re ours now,
i believe we do them justice.
your brilliant minds and gentle souls do it justice.
i’m in awe of us, okay?
okay.

I see now why they kept insisting Will doesn't have powers and was just borrowing them.
They fully believe that El and Kali are just "magic and whimsy" and had no choice but to go so that the "real" people could move on.
Will having powers outside of Vecna would further prove El and Kali arent "magic". You can't just handwave them away. They are real people. Real girls who suffered and deserve to live their lives just like Will. They deserve to move on too and find a better place to be.
I'm so bothered that they're treated like aliens or fairies by their own writers.
Will's from a poor family who lives on the edge of town. Everyone outside of the Byers small circle thinks they're weirdos or crazy. The town searched for him for about 2 days and then gave up. First they assumed he was "killed by some other queer". Then they went along with it being some sort of accident thanks to the government covering it up.
Without El, they never would have found Will. Joyce would be done in just like Terry. Jonathan would be taking care of her for the rest of her life like Aunt Becky. Then, the world would eventually end I guess.
In a lot of ways, Will was the perfect target, but El's very existence saved him from Henry's grand design.
She really saved him.
The writers didn't give us an on screen meeting.
The writers wouldn't give us a thank you scene.
They finally allowed Will to save her in a critical moment.
And then, he didn't get to say goodbye.
He didn't get to prove to her that her life is the only reason he still lives.
