making ocs based on commedia dell'arte with a friend... we r going steampunk w it :) colombina was a popular ballerina who was frequently paid to perform on airships. after a devastating dirigible crash, she lost her limbs and took on pretty severe burns, but survived. Her father, who is a well known mechanic, built her prosthetic limbs so she could continue her dream. with training, she is able to perform again at the level of proficiency she once had. However, she isn't looked at the same. She's seen as less than to most- some see her prosthetics as an advantage over others and making the sport too easy(this is a whole lie btw it takes incredible skill for her to even be on par with her ability beforehand). Some see her as an object, an anomaly that should be studied in the fields of medicine and mechanics. So she quits her freelancing, and runs away to join a travelling show. maybe ill post ab her more if i draw her more lol
