He is a dad. He will be judged on how father he is to anyone younger than him. Not fatherly enough? Automatic failure at relationship. Character growth is when he becomes more fatherly to a designated child. His relationship with any younger person is and should be explicitly and only father/child. It's the only appropriate and safe relationship a male should have with a younger person, especially if they're in any type of caretaker role. Anything else, regardless if it's an explicitly platonic dynamic, is incest and pedophilia rhetoric because they are the child and he is the father and that's all a good person can be. Discourse over how good or bad of a father he is, is the only discussion allowed regarding his character. His flaws are when he's not fatherly enough. His positive traits are fatherly. Anyone who rejects that label wishes to harm and corrupt the wholesome family structure, the most endangered label of them all, next to Catholicism and the USA second amendment.
