Peeta is the soft one to everyone, but in the aftermath of the books he becomes even softer, treats everything with a sort of reverent, obsessive care, is convinced without a doubt that he is a momster just waiting to be set loose. Hes a killer. He hurt Katniss, and even though neither of those things were technically his fault, youd be hard pressed to convince him of it.
