Side note I do wonder who much of that was bitterness - Danny FORGIVES Mike after all but not Terry and Mike was the one who laid hands on Danny - Mike was the one who hurt him - not Terry.
All Terry did was make Daniel face a few hard truths about himself - that he ALWAYS had some cobra in him - which is a theme he continues on.

And can we talk about maybe this is Terry trying to convince both Daniel and himself that what he did wasn’t that bad if Danny liked it and it made him these things - Terry really hates that Danny doesn’t look back on their time together with the same warm fuzzy feelings.
Stingray he hospitalized (so once again, even though Danny makes him lose control, he still doesn’t go as far as we know he is capable - like he granted Danny mercy - Mercy which he gives to no one else - mercy even after he granted him those warnings!
Which honestly, Terry knows Daniel - knows his essence of what makes him him (even the parts Daniel. Tries deep or tries to ignore exists) so he knew he would never take the offer BUT he still made it.
Kreese - jail and then never thought of again.
Also - on the vein of him remembering Daniel’s nickname after thirty years ……
He recognizes Daniel’s style ….. RIGHT AWAY!
RIGHT AWAY ANNNNNDDDD look at how elevated he is as soon as he notices - as soon As Daniel is mentioned or in his thoughts - instant demeanour change.
Anything to do with Danny is instant:

Meanwhile Danny snarks him and it’s all heart eyes and I like this attitude on you.

The Mini mart scene - Terry is having the time of his life - smiling and clearly having a time™️ playing with his favourite toy he lost and has now found again.
Now compare that to when the mini mart guy talks to him (although one could argue that is due to him ruining Terry’s afterglow of the mental sparring he just did with his Danny-boy).
INSTANT Demeanour CHANGE - smile drops off and his body language menacing.
And man oh man now I’m thinking about how Daniel forgives everyone who physically hurts him - no matter how bad - but not Terry because he hurt him in a different way.
And how Daniel hurts Terry back by not accepting his apology.
