I’m shaking from the cold as I write this. The storms won’t stop, and our tent protects us from nothing. My family is freezing, my mother is in pain, and there is no warmth or safety.
$25 from 15 people could save us from this deadly cold. Please help us. If you can’t donate, please share and don’t scroll past in silence.
Please, please continue sharing this post and help us by donating. Please, please.
I’m making this post to showcase all of the art commissions I have bought to support my friend @hashembadr. Hashem is #102 on @gazavetters' spreadsheet. You can read his story here. After 2 years managing funds for and fighting to support his family members who could not afford to leave Gaza, he is now returning to his original goal of raising funds to leave Gaza to join his wife and children in Morocco.
The following artists have all agreed to draw in exchange for donations to his campaign! I encourage you to commission them and help support Hashem and his family.
Transfeminism isnt niche internet discourse if the FBI is telling a transfeminist author to stop publishing
Deadass people need to act on this

if everyone in the world including all systems suddenly forgot your birthday and you had to pick a new one , which month would you place it in ?
Fantasizing about purchasing a sandwich
i'd already appreciated that ONE pulled off something highly risky in the writing of mob & reigen but i feel like seeing the live action get within the ballpark and then completely drop the ball makes it so easy to pinpoint what makes or breaks their characterization. the anime lowered the stakes in order to succeed which is understandable, especially since a big studio big budget project like that had to concern itself with marketability far more than a webcomic that was largely drawn by two people, but it did result in a somewhat less satisfying story. strokes my beard
my feelings on the live action are now somewhat nuanced like it's still a really really REALLY bad adaptation to the point where the writing doesn't even hold up out of context and it's largely not fun to watch, but manga chapters 100 + 101 did a lot to tie everything together and make it crystal clear what the story is about, and they would've been writing this adaptation before those chapters were published, so i can find it in my heart to be slightly less mad than i was when i started watching it. additionally i appreciate that they let the girls have screentime together and the fact that tome and mezato ended up being combined into one character is far more forgivable after seeing how many other characters got left out, presumably due to budget constraints. dgmw i wasn't overselling how bad my viewing experience was, but after ruminating on it, i'd give it a 3/10. do not watch it though please i only finished it bc i'm crazy
