FALLOUT — 1.08 "The Beginning"

This is going to be a sad and long post but I am desperate for help, so please share or donate. Thank you.

This is my Lucky boy, I've had 13 fun years with him. But unfortunately his health has declined rapidly since loosing his companion, my other dog, Lily. She passed on Memorial day, back in May of this year, from dementia at 17 years old.

Without Lily around, Lucky has stopped eating. He has started chewing sores all over is body. He sleeps 90% of his days. After running blood test and biopsy results, the vet has confirmed he has cancer.

Today will be our last day together. He will be going on our last car ride to the vet tomorrow.

So for today were making the best of it. He got to go to PetCo one last time to let him pick out some treats, see his favorite groomer, and to wag his tail one more time at the register. We grabbed a couple of cheese burgers and spent some time sitting in the sun together down at the park.

I've cried over it, I've lost sleep over it, but I know that he is in pain, and it's his turn to rest peacefully. I hate seeing him hurting and even though it kills me to be in this situation, I know it's the right thing to do.

However, he is 120 lbs dog that unfortunately I won't be able to cremate without help financially. His euthanasia alone will be around $200 and another $400 for a private cremation, so i can bring his ashes home.

I am out of savings, I am about to loose my home due to loss in income already. So anything helps right now.
