People who can't stand Rings of Power. Or the Sauron x Galadriel pairing. Or 1 Season ROP! repentant form of Sauron...They remind me a lot of my language teachers at school. I often disagreed with them. They only wanted to force me to one point of view, THEIRS. They couldn't stand that I saw a character or situation from the book differently. And often It was different from what they had written in the teacher's handbook. They called me names. Insulted me in front of the whole class. [Even though I was a child then]. They said what I think is worthless. They gave me very low grades on my essays. They were terrified and disgusted by the fact that someone thought differently than them. Less flat; less black and white. That someone disagreed with them. That I saw shades of gray. That I was different. I never let their nasty behavior destroy my spark. My ability to see deeper and broader. If someone forbids us to think our own way... That's their problem. [Sadly, in the LOTR fandom, I see similar behavior to my teachers.] Art and literature; Fiction is for opening our souls. To enjoy discovering new perspectives. To speak; to write what we feel, what we see. If you, as a reader or viewer, don't have a voice... Then art and literature are meaningless. My dear ROP fans, or Haladriels and/or ROP!Sauron Likers. Let's not let anyone take away our voices. We have lost too many Lights in our small; unique community.💔
