Y’all beg and plead for the boys to make a statement about anything political but have you ever stopped to think about how they’re musicians? They’re not activists. They’re not politicians. They’re just two guys from Ohio who ended up getting to do what they love for a living.
Last time you begged Tyler to use his platform it crashed and burned. He went on to apologize, but one thing that sticks out to me in that apology is he also made it clear that he and his family were receiving death threats.
Tyler and Josh have wives and kids. They’re not your Gen Z musicians who are active on social media about every single political thing. They will always prioritize the safety of their families over anything else.
A statement would be lovely. But having been in this fandom for ten years I know how Tyler and Josh are when it comes to politics. And the fact of the matter is they keep that shit private.
