Frobin is that couple where you find out one of them is good at chess and you assume it's Robin because she's smart like that, but when asked she's just like 'No, I just like the little horsies :)' And that's how you find out Franky is like. worldwide grand level chess master

Random frobin au's for the new year because I'm tired of just seeing twitter and insta saying "oh, but Robin's far too good for Franky" and I think we should start responding with "Okay, but imagine if___"

  • Single parents au
  • Married parents au
  • While working for Crocodile, Robin tracked the Pluton to Franky and brought him back to Alabasta. Basically Franky and Robin join the Straw Hats at the same time, and yes, there are hard feelings.
  • We just need more real world cold war aus.
  • Robin and Iceberg are the two people who love Franky most, but are fully aware that Robin could still pose a threat to him, and Iceberg's already caused him a lot of hurt, so they just... don't like each other
  • Franky's always had a thing for Robin, but by the time she's realized she likes him as more than just a friend, he's accepted being friend zoned so now she has to get him to like-like her again
  • I've said it before, I'll say it again. au where Robin ends up in water 7 instead of Baroque Works.
  • Franky originally becoming a bounty hunter to look for one very specific criminal
  • They end up at some island and there's some girl who's really into Franky but he's oblivious, and Robin's super jealous but doesn't know why because it's not like they're together, so the rest of the crew are just watching it all. Waiting for them to figure it out.
  • We also just need more of them parenting the younger Straw Hats. Bonus points if Robin's not always the 'mom' and Franky's not always the 'dad'

Things I say as a former church kid that nobody but me thinks are funny

Aww, that's really nice of you to say❤️ I just really like them and have read every piece of canon material I could get my hands on lol.

I do have headcanons about their parents and I'm glad you asked! I've mentioned before that I think Aizawa was a rich kid and Mic was an orphan, but I don't think I've ever elaborated beyond that, so let's go!

  • You didn't ask about Oboro specifically, but you're getting some bonus Oboro headcanons anyway! Oboro had a nice normal family, mom, dad, and a couple of annoying little sisters
  • Aizawa's family lives in a big cold apartment in Tokyo and Hizashi has a lot of rules about curfew and visitors, so Oboro would always invite them over to his place. Hizashi would take him up on it every chance he got, so he was closer to Oboro's family than Aizawa
  • Hizashi was abandoned when he was born, so he doesn't really know anything about his birth parents. He doesn't know if his quirk came from one of them, was about combination of both theirs, or if he was a complete anomaly
  • He grew up in an orphanage with a lot of rules that he was always accidentally breaking, so he was always kinda miserable there
  • He spent a lot of his childhood wishing for someone to come along and adopt him to save him, but it just... never happened. He gave up on that dream by the time he was a teenager, but it played a big part in him choosing to become a hero and a teacher
  • Aizawa's father was a doctor who died when Shouta was really young
  • Shouta's father also had erasure, but his was touch based. Some form of it runs through the Aizawa family, but Shouta has the strongest form of it
  • Shouta's mother got remarried a few years later. His step father's fine, but they're not close
  • (Side note: I feel like I'm the only person in the fandom who doesn't think Aizawa was a general studies transfer student)
  • Aizawa's step father has a lot of money and is a large financial supporter of UA and was able to basically buy Shouta a special recommendation to the hero course because of this
  • Aizawa does not tell people his parents are rich rich
  • Hizashi does not tell people his parents abandoned him
  • Oboro learns these things, does not care, and offers to share his parents if they need them

My one out of many, but this is the one I'm sharing right now random frobin headcanon is that they call each other husband and wife. Not just that they refer to each other as their as their spouse, but they also use 'Husband' and 'Wife' as petnames. Nobody's entirely sure if they

  1. Got properly legally married on some random island
  2. Asked Luffy to declare them married one day
  3. Just call each other that because they can
