As usual I’ve been accumulating a bunch and just not sharing it so let’s have an art dump ✨
Starting off with Zalan’s crow family, I needed a design with all the little blorbos on it 😈 so I did the crow fam climbing to pocket Lilya and needed a version with the siblings’ love interests both in a shared universe and everyone’s canonical one, I love them with my whole heart guys, I’m weak (Lilya @serensama - Ilene @kabsey - Carina @jenn2d2 - Hugo @jukkaricity )
I finally finished this Island AU piece with Turvi Sabi and Veryl having a movie night on their super ugly couch and falling asleep. I love them they’re precious to me (and also heyyyyy happy late birthday @hedwigoprah ) (Turvi @davrinsleftpectoral Sabi @seaglassmelody )
Here’s some of a bunch of people’s rooks and ships as food, Veryl the cheezit started it all and Blueberry Cheesecake Turvi x Sabi had me spiraling until I drew a bunch of these little guys. (Ps solo Zalan is fine in his little stink cloud don’t look at him lol) (Jericho @sandcastlekings )
And the sketches, I was working on a facial hair progression for Zalan because my brain wouldn’t let me see him without a beard and mustache and heavily referenced several anime poses because my style isn’t great for that, I probably won’t finish it but it exists. And then ( @r2wedoomed ‘s Rook) Ezra clearly has the best advice lol
tragic when a thing gets hate for being 'woke trash' and you look into it and its not even that woke. like cmon man i was promised monacle popping gay commie propaganda. this is just a video game with a woman in it.
The overcompensating utter aversion to depicting characters as sexually/romantically inexperienced gets crazy sometimes too. Like people will twist themselves into pretzels to figure out a way to make it so that a character has Definitely Had Sex Before even if it's like, genuinely physically implausible for them to have done so. It's weird.
a character could be like I have had zero close personal relationships since reaching adulthood. I am experiencing my first human friendship right now on screen in front of you, this is my primary character arc. Before that I was raised on a space station alone by robots. And then you'll read fic about them that's like "I of course have had multiple sexual partners since reaching the age of majority, long before meeting the person I'm being shipped with here." Like dude How.

Oooh so this is one of my first Calliope-focused WIPs! I'm trying to nail down what her dynamic with Davrin is like, and the trajectory of their relationship.
So I'm starting with angst LOL This is the post-Weisshaupt discussion but not as reasonable as Rook is in the game. Callie's really upset about Davrin accepting his own death (she's not clear on her feelings for him yet but she is really upset at the idea of being left behind) and confronts him about it. She focuses on the impact on Assan and tries to avoid making it about her, but she can't totally hide how personal she's taking it. It turns into an argument because of course Davrin's having to deal with the fact that he's still alive. But they'll figure it out. Probably.
but I gotta actually replay Weisshaupt before I start working on it so I've got a little ways to go!!
Davrin's Forced Outing please??? Poor Davrin??
So this one is kind of misnamed I think but I didn't want to try to come up with a different one haha
It's not an outing being forced UPON Davrin. Rather it is Davrin doing Davrin things and forcing an outing upon someone ELSE.
Namely. Sabi. It's another Companion Sabi piece because that's most of what I've got at this point LOL
I want to practice writing Davrin more and I feel like, much like he takes Rook on outings to give them a bit of a break, he'd do it with the others if given the chance. I want to utilize the fact that Sabi is a companion to experiment with what the VG members that don't go along do while Rook is out on a mission!
I need Sabi and Davrin friendship in my life so badly too. So SO badly.

I JUST remembered this one existed but now that I do I'm excited about it!!
Girlies and Gossip is a Companion Sabi one where Bellara (and Rhys) try to weasel information out of Sabi, while Neve tries to weasel information out of Lucanis about What The Fuck Is Up With Them.
They're so weird with each other. And they've both got a lot going on, so maybe they just need people to confide in? Bellara and Rhys are probably going to be kind and supportive. Neve is going to roast Lucanis like his coffee beans.
It's intended to be silly and light-hearted to balance out the stupid amount of emotions I have in that AU so far hahaha
every day im mad as hell that i dont have infinite time in the day and am not physically able to draw for 200 hours straight no breaks and dont know every hobby and cant just spend the rest of time drawing and getting into every creative hobby and learn everything and get infinite money from the government

This took me WAY too long and I had to restart a couple times but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!
