I don't quite know the way to describe it, but the phrase 'Towton tap' to refer to those who died during the rout from the battle of Towton is too apt a phrase not to use to refer to the poor bastards who got brained by warhammers used by mounted cavalry.
It's a wonderfully innocuous phrase that belies the sheer brutality of a rare snowy battle.
The artwork by Graham Turner does a wonderful job at showing how chaotic the rout of a Medieval battle would be, with the fleeing infantry pursued by mounted cavalry.
The guy right in the middle is receiving the 'Towton tap', the hook of the horseman's pick going right through his steel sallet helmet and into his skull.
The guy on the very bottom right is actually based around a reconstruction of a skull recovered at the battle, of a man who was in his 30s to 40s, and had already suffered a wound that healed, showing him to be a veteran soldier in his own right.

"Microsoft has cut its sales targets for its agentic AI software after struggling to find buyers interested in using it. In some cases, targets have been slashed by up to 50%, suggesting Microsoft overestimated the potential of its new AI tools. Indeed, compared with ChatGPT and Google's Gemini, Copilot is falling behind, raising concerns about Microsoft's substantial AI investment.
Microsoft was an early investor in many of the latest AI companies. It ended up with a serious stake in OpenAI and benefited from early access to its models, creating Bing Chat and Copilot when Google, Meta, and Anthropic were just getting started. But now its momentum has stalled, and like everyone else, it's not making much money from its AI products. That's because no one is buying them, and that is because very few people actually find them useful, The Information reports."

@strangezeroz welcome to tumblr where the app decides when you can be gifted with the sight of og memes, you cannot look for these yourself via the search engine, you won’t find them, you have to wait to be gifted them
For those of you who might be new here, Tumblr has no algorithm, legendary memes are brought to your dash by mutuals like pet cats bringing you dead birds.
