my friend just told me that there’s a secret second dashboard that solely contains posts from people you’ve turned on post notifications for, and when i click the link in the messages it opens it within the tumblr app, so the tumblr app also has a secret second dashboard for post notification blogs, and the only way to access it is to open the link for it within the app.

I don't have any energy to draw or do anything right now, so have a WIP that I made some time ago! Some frames look funky because I haven't had time to map the lighting so it follows his body properly.

It's going to take a long, long time to finish that animation [trying to make a Funnythings fan-animation for the song, no idea if I'll be able to finish it.] There's also a really rough storyboard I have, still gotta remake, tweak, and improve it because i am not happy with it yet. Sucks how many people were taught that "horses put their ears back when they're mad" but then never taught the difference between "angry backwards ears," "mildly annoyed backwards ears," "pain backwards ears," "concentrated backwards ears," "sleepy backwards ears" and "just happens to be listening to something behind it."

These are all completely different expressions in completely different scenarios, and only two of them are decidedly negative.

Actually, I wanna talk about the third horse, the one putting its ears back in pain. Over the last 15 years veterinarians and animal scientists have worked out pain scales for most domestic animals by taking photos of the during routine procedures.

We know vaccines painful, and by comparing horses at rest with horses getting vaccinated, we've been able to determine how they express pain visually. By looking at horses with disorders like colic, broken bones, wounds, and so on, we can determine their facial expressions during more severe pain.

At zookeeper school we were drilled through the pain faces of the most common lab animals and livestock. Nowadays I believe this has become a routine lesson in all animal related fields, but the general public still doesn't know that this is a thing that exists.

Ok so this one is kind of hard to understand, I just made it without prior plan LOL. So the cast is having a snowball fight, and Caine decided to come with a bugle! Bubble is the snowball storage, he gobbles up snowballs for Caine to throw. But oh no! Caine got distracted by a butterfly and left the bubble storage running! Alright so the extra words I wanted to say: Jay's prompt was left really open-ended and I went...a bit crazy! I really loved that it was open to interpretation. I really hope you like this gift as much as I enjoyed making it! it was a incredibly awesome learning experience for me too. I had so much fun that I spent most of my free time on it. There were even times where I couldn't sleep thinking about it LOL I remember I went to Jay's page and saw their beautiful art and went "kay, I gotta lock in!" And again, Jay's patience with this gift, I missed the deadline but they still waited so patiently, thank you Jay 🙏 The Mod on this event was incredible, really smooth communication, rules, and flexible with the deadlines/schedules. They were incredibly enthusiastic and such a sweet individual. Thank you so much for hosting this event @tadcgiftfest, It was a blast. I can't believe I finished this gift, I usually know myself as the person who doesn't finish anything, but this was such a growing experience for me. The Mod also helped a heck ton, their encouragement every time I updated them kept me pushing to finish it. And seeing it come together. I also learned that I really need to relearn editing and learn sound design, heh. But seriously, thank you so much, it was a invaluable experience for me and I'd do it all again, Happy new year to both of you and anyone who is reading.
