In the meantime I will say this: lots of people believe Jax pressed the Red button under Caine's influence, because of Jax's accusations right after pressing the button. What I think is, adventure or not, Jax just made the worst possible choice in front of EVERYONE, he didn't know how to get out of that shitty situation so he blamed Caine for it. Saying this not to defend Caine, but because he looked genuinely confused at Jax's accusations. BTW, was Jax blaming Caine also for that kaleidoscope trip he just experienced with that "God knows what else?"

do you ever think about how every single star you can see at night is from the past? its possible that one of the stars i can see right now out my window isnt even real anymore. maybe its gone and this is the last time itll ever be seen by a human.
memories are like that too. you never really realize in the moment what events become a memory versus what goes and gets lost forever. but even when you store a memory, its still never as clear as the day that it happened. and the more time that goes on, the less clear it becomes until one day, it could just be gone, and you could have no idea.
i like to think i have a pretty good memory. not for little things like where i put my keys or what someone's middle name is. but i remember the important stuff. like how my mom gets really happy when i show any interest in the books shes reading. or when a new musical comes out and shelley gets super excited. kenny's eyes light up every time he sees his sister, and kyle's face turns red when hes been caught in a lie. my brain chooses to remember all of those things and mostly because they're associated with memories.
this long ramble is just my way of saying, go look outside right now. what do you see? do you see stars like I do? maybe you see clouds with funny shapes, or maybe its raining.
take a second to breathe and really feel everything around you. because who knows,
maybe someday this moment will become a memory

“Can I help?” A sales associate asked.
“We need two hockey jerseys.”
“What team or player?”
“Doesn’t matter. It’s for a roleplay thing we’re doing.”
Ian sighed, “Mickey, why would you say that?!”
“He asked!”

“Ok. Fine. Two jerseys in different colours. And we’re definitely not gonna bang while wearing them. There are you happy now?”
