Hey got another 100dmv Legs headcanon

So, obviously in Minecraft mechanics you can just look up the resources and formula needed to craft any item, but I keep thinking about how that would work dietetically. Like, that’s a problem for a lot of Minecraft mechanics but I think I’ve come up with a fun explanation for this one.

Somehow, despite the different mechanics, material, and needs of every world the Traveller finds himself in, he always has an unerringly clear sense of not just how to create, but how to design. It’s mundane for him, he never thinks much of how he can look at a problem and puzzle together a solution after a few moments of simple thinking. He doesn’t have anything to compare himself to in order to realise how utterly insane it is that he found a way to create rocket ships, skulk destroying devices, arcane implements, unseen before weapons and armour with no outside help and seemingly instinctual ease. He’s always had a knack for that sort of thing. It’s just how he is.

He is many things; a fighter, a survivor, a builder, a collector. But he’s always been one thing first and foremost, whether he’s realised it or not.

He designs things. Solves problems and makes plans. Has strange ideas and seeks to see them realised. He creates.

He is, still, an Architect.

Since it’s canon that the Organization did some weirdo science bullshit to make Abolish into a half vampire despite already being cure do you think they could do that in reverse? Could they make a vampire into a half vampire? Do you think they could lessen Apo’s suffering?

Like, I’m 100% sure the Organization wasn’t exactly happy with what Abolish found. “Oh we need holy water yeah we can do that. Holy beacon? We can probably replace that with any large holy object or area and we have to- oh. Oh.” Like, I think everyone can agree that having to kill the sire to be cured is like extremely messed up. Yes there’s bastards like Scott who I’m sure the organization would have no issue hunting down but for every one like him I’m sure there’s a million more like Louis who turned someone out of love, to help or hell simple accidents. It’s not fair that someone has to die for another to live, especially in cases where the sire has an extreme bond to their fledgling.

So I imagine they started doing experiments from the base knowledge which eventually lead them to having a breakthrough. I like to imagine sometime before or around when he becomes half vampire Abolish goes to Apo with the same offer. And it’s not perfect, she’s still technically a vampire she still has a desire for blood, she still has claws and fangs and she’s still immortal but she no longer needs blood to live, she can avoid it entirely and she can finally eat Cherri’s cooking again, she can feel the warmth of the sun on her skin without burning and slowly slowly her hair starts to mostly become red again. What happened in Oakhurst will never leave her and follow her forever but finally they can live life with Cherri without complete agony.

ALRIGHT HERE my vampire biology/physiology headcanons, to go with this worldbuilding post here.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a biologist, or scientist, and have made only the most cursory research to see if something fits. In addition keep in mind that vampires are also MAGIC and I will be including that in my headcanons. For fucks sake they turn into tiny BATS, there's only so much logic you can apply to loss and gain of mass. Vampires to me are equal parts bug/bat/cat.

I withhold the right to change any of this in the future, and it is not a hard rule. I am so sorry in advance for the wall of text, I promise I tried to keep it as concise as possible.

Fact 1: Vampire noises

niche trope I enjoy: person recounting a story of something terrible they did and the way they describe it makes it sound like an active decision where they were completely in control and knew what they were doing and enjoyed it, but if you look at the bare bones facts, it's like. are you sure about that? are you sure you didn't just panic and lash out and do something irreparable? are you sure that's what you wanted and you aren't just retroactively assigning yourself agency to cope? but you as the audience can't really know the answer to that, because the storyteller is the only one who was there and this is how they're choosing to preserve it, and that matters for how they want to be perceived going forward... but you do still wonder.
