Small update

Sims burnout is hitting me hard. I've not played in a week or so, and ran out of posts even for the gemstone legacy. I said I'd take the time to write a queue for Living in the Lap of Luxury and Black Widow but that hasn't happened either besides a handful of posts in the first week. I hope the sims flame will return to me soon, but I honestly think I might be playing Inzoi mostly once the new update drops. We'll see! I decided not to spend too much energy on forcing myself to make posts or play the game just for this blog, because that just sucks the fun out of it altogether. When I play more, I'll be back with more posts. I'm not quitting, just quitting my reliable schedule for now.

Another day, another case! An important one this time, because Emerald was asked to investigate election fraud. After interviewing a bunch of people, checking some records at the city hall and snooping around in the graveyard, Emerald indeed discovered that her namesake had been set up.

That's ten cases solved now. Emerald is also getting close to the top of her career ladder.

Emerald bumped into Adularia, who was already very pregnant. It was no surprise that later that evening, the notification popped up that Adularia gave birth to a baby boy named Shawn, who has a green complexion just like his mother!

Youssef finally made it to the top of the photography career!

While Emerald focused on completing her ninth case, the rest of the family enjoyed the new home. Especially Alex likes the new stuff, like the wood fire oven, making himself a 'Forever Alone Calzone'...

With Adularia and Lang moving into their own house, it was time for the Gemstone family to downsize a little. Emerald moved them all to a much smaller plot on the other side of town, where a house was built that perfectly suited their needs. The view was pretty nice as well, the hilltop looking out over a large part of the town.

They also live one the same block as Topaz, Beryl and Obsidian now.

Pretty quickly after the wedding, Adularia found out she's pregnant. That meant it was time for her and Lang to move into their own home. They bought Willow Manor a bit further down the street, a house with plenty of space to build a large family.

One the evening after his daughter's wedding, Youssef scores the legacy another point by harvesting Life Fruit.

I'm combining his and Sapphire's collection together for this point like I did with the relics, because he's missing some of the French grapes. I'm not gonna send them back to Champs les Sims and Sapphire does have them all, so that's a score for me.

Adularia and Lang got married in the garden of the estate on a beautiful spring day. Uncle Garnet forgot to get dressed for the wedding, but it didn't ruin anyone's happiness. Though it triggered some laughter, everyone let the man be and keep himself warm in his heart with the love from our newlyweds.

Adularia was so incredibly happy the entire day!

Youssef reached level 10 in the cooking skill, so he was finally able to read the final few recipe books and collect all recipes in the game!

DeAndre Wolf was quite convinced he was being stalked, so he hired Emerald to go check things out. Emerald pulled out her best camouflage skills again to conduct a stake-out at the theatre. But while she was sneaking up on a group of supposed groupies, one of them died on the spot!

While Emerald was at The Red Rendezvous for another case, her cousin Rachael went into labor! Emerald volunteered to take Rachael to the hospital (even though her mother Trisha was right there, but completely ignoring her daughter going into labor). Emerald decided Rachael should be the one to drive, lmao.

Rachael gave birth to a baby girl, Christel. Justine Kayes is the father, but the two of them broke up earlier so Rachael will be raising her alone.

Adularia and Lang are getting married!

Emerald was hired to investigate her very own sister in law, Angelina Gemstone, who was suspected of taking a bribe when refereeing a game at the stadium. Luckily her brother Topaz or Angelina didn't catch her rummaging through their trash, though she did have a silent witness in their toddler Jamar.

Though Emerald had wished for the opposite to be true, it turned out Angelina did take a bribe. She confronted her sister in law at her home, who confessed. It means Angelina will get fired from her job, so Topaz probably isn't very happy with her now.

As a hopeless romantic, Adularia is the happiest she ever has been with Lang by her side. It won't be long before she will continue onwards to have her happily ever after with him, leaving the Gemstone household...

Emerald performed a stake out at Mick's Karaoke. I don't think she was as hidden as she thought she was...
