Oh man, this one is hard. Areas would vary between being very crowded or very empty yet he would never be truly alone: there would always be someone or something watching. He would be treated with scorn, distrust and insults. The ones who didn't would hide their dislike behind thinly veiled politeness and words of fake adoration and he would always be able to tell. No one would truly respect him or his deeds. His father never said he loved him. He would keep face at first, put on a mask of confidence for them but also for himself. Then, over time it would crack and he'd lose his temper, then, eventually... his mind. He was a thick-skinned sort of man, yet how he was perceived and treated was something he always aimed to improve. All the negativity would definitely take it's toll on him, especially when nothing he could do to prove them wrong or change their minds would work.

While blood was never something he was afraid of while alive, he also never got into a situation where he was exposed to scary injuries and so have no idea how he would have reacted. As a kindred that changed, unsurprisingly. Aside from the obvious of finding fresh blood appealing in the way most vampires do, he would most likely be really into bloodplay in the bedroom 😌

Oooh. The closest thing he has to an enemy would probably be the Tzimisce who stole his identity and then, when approached, "killed himself" in a very public way -- still looking like Lucien. They're the reason he shaved his head and is currently laying low whenever he's around mortals -- a dead, somewhat famous man still walking around is not a good look for many reasons. This art piece was inspired by that whole debacle. Unfortunately, that Tzimisce is still running around. The coterie (and many others in Phoenix) are still looking for them. I wouldn't say Lucien would hunt them to the ends of the earth or anything -- perhaps if they were still pretending to be him -- but as of now they're mostly an annoying nuisance he wants rid of. Though their actions definitely sting, still. (And probably will for a good, long while)
