There's a New girl AU I'm really excited to share, and I'm having the most fun writing, plus a few things involving Hufflepuff!Marlene.
🍄 Are there any fandoms you've never written for but want to try?
I think there's no other fandom that draws me in as much as the Harry Potter one, so even when I enjoy reading or watching things pertaining to other worlds, my mind immediately tries to fit the Harry Potter characters into them. For example, I've an idea for a pirates au, obviously inspired by "Pirates of the Caribbean", and while I have mostly figure out the Marauders role in it, I would never write Jack Sparrow myself.
Also, I think when it comes down to other fandoms, I liked role playing more than creating something entirely on my own.

Yes!
I’ve always been drawn to writing, so my family were the first to know, I guess? My sister always offered to type out my stories when I was too little to use the computer, and then until graduation I was always known as the “writer friend”, though is not something I tell about myself much these days.
As for fanfiction, yes. I used to write with one of my closest friends when we were teenagers, same friend that in my early twenties got me into RPG, so it wasn’t much of a secret. If the topic comes out today, it’s treated as yet another hobby of mine, same as the friends that get into pottery or dancing or anything, really.

There are ideas I'm obsessively, painfully, slowly writing, and then there's the stories than come as easy as breathing. A bit annoying, if you ask me.
Anyway, here's another Blackinnon story for the archives. Not sure how many chapters long it will be, but I can assure you each chapter will be short and easy to read.

But what Lily also turned up to be, was a good friend. The only true downside to their friendship was that as of that year, she had been paired up with James Potter —yes, Lily also had the advantage as most of her classmates to be pair up with anyone at any moment, a luxury Marlene lost in the wake of her last growth spur—, and while all was fine and well with him, what wasn't was the fact that wherever James went, there was Sirius Black: tall, talented, and troublesome. He also happened to be one of the sons of the academy's directive, so while Sirius could do whatever damage he wanted, his place was secure, meanwhile, Marlene's position was in shaky ground all because she suddenly became a solo dancer, that is, if she was still considered a student in the academy.

akram salim is maybe the character of all time. well-dressed, polite and unassuming man capable of terrible violence. literally looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you. was "sort of" a cop in syria and no, he won't be expanding on that. widowed single dad to daughters he loves but doesn't understand. casual brutality is easy for him but he never loses control. WILL stop to pet the nose of a dog statue because it's good luck. sarcastic as fuck but never even cracks a smile. has a knife and knows how to use it. has absolute zero ego and goes out of his way to reassure the cop who previously investigated their cold case that he did a great job and it wasn't his fault the case wasn't solved earlier. helps his egotistical asshole boss calm down from a panic attack and then uses said boss's vulnerable position to enforce a boundary in a way that is both polite and threatening. and he bakes :)
