It's nice to be a translator in the sense that I don't really have to do anything. I put effort into my choices and so on and one might say it's "unseen effort" but the point still stands that the final product is dependent on me merely acting as a conduit for someone else. I don't really know if I'm capable of any other role in society besides vessel, conduit etc

Niederösterreich and Tama generally could be compared but the image I have in my head when I imagine Niederösterreich is considerably less flattering than Tama even though they're probably equally as picturesque. Like you say Tama I think of Mt Takao right.? When you say Niederösterreich I think of a petrol station
