Yes, he's a horrible caretaker and role-model TO AN EXTENT. The man who was conning tourists, being a general jerk to everyone is the SAME MAN who was 2aking uo and making breakfast for the kids, washing their dirty laundry, making that place somewhere liveable, washing dishes, ironing clothes...
Did that...hit anyone yet? Like?? Sure the twins could have done some of it but I genuinely think Stan did most of it, being the adult, maybe even paid Soos to do a bit too help out (since we see Soos inside the house a lot) but????
Stanley not only was taking care of a buissness, working on said buissness, stealing shit for the portal, looking for the other journals (is he didnt give up yet, REVIVING THE PORTAL but he was also TAKING CARE OF THE TWINS.
We see him in the first episode and its him getting distracted by the world's most distracting object- Oh! Haha! He totally isn't watching over the kids haha! NOT!!!!
Stan knew the kids asked the 8 ball if they should run, he gave them a free gift from the shop at the end of the first episode to probably try bribe them to like him. This man was BUSY working on EVRYTHING which is why he just let the twins run around- ITS WHAT HIS BROTHER AND HIM USED TO DO SO ITS NORMAL TO HIM GOD-
Stanley Pines was single mothering his way into a sci-fi genre movie he did not ask to be starred in and he FUCKING ACED IT. Everyone's clothes were clean AND IRONED before the end of the world thank you very fucking much.
