Nicholas. That middle-aged trans guy who cosplays niche stuff. See pinned post for highlights. Drift compatible with @crowtoed

The pinned post

I'm a bi, middle-aged (48), married trans man (started HRT at 33)!

With a few exceptions, I am pretty niche with my fandoms.

Expect a lot from AMC's The Terror (season 1), and Channel 5/PBS's All Creatures Great & Small (ACGAS).

Read more for cosplay & project highlights, trans stuff, as well as links about my wardrobe, the cats, my home decor, hiking pics, and why I block people who say I look like Sam Reich.

Hi, I've got a slightly odd question for you and potentially your followers, apologies if this is a bit TMI: I've gained more bottom growth than expected in the first year on Testosterone and I'm needing to buy new underpants due to both dysphoria and said bottom growth making holes in the same place on every pair. I don't know what to look for - would I be fine just grabbing some cheap ones of any variety, or should I be looking for anything specific?

Ah, yes, the chafing. It will get better.

You may want to try boxers, or cotton boxer briefs that have a looser pouch (what I do). Packing will probably also be uncomfortable right now.

Monistat makes a chafing relief powder gel. I haven't personally used it, but I've seen it recommended.

Also, just be sure to take regular showers and keep your undergarments clean - you want to limit how much sweat and bacteria are in that region.

Others welcome to chime in.

this is tofu, our precious baby! she'll be around six years old this summer! she's very sassy, mischievous and independent, but still a total cuddlebug!

here is her sister tama, who is younger than her by a year and born from the same mom:

and here is our lil mans of the house, and tama's bonded brother and littermate, mame (mah-may, as in bean)!

Another cool find for my study -- I've wanted one of these vintage rubber stamp carousels for a while and finally found one for $20. (These get priced anywhere from $15-125.)

It was the slightest bit too short for my lino tools, but luckily I had this huge gear in my collection of oddities (part of my assortment of weights for patterns and whatnot).

Please enjoy these ducks changing their minds

[Video description: a flock of ducks rush outside of a wooden barn or shed into a yard covered with a thick blanket of snow. The ducks mill around outside for a couple of seconds and then all turn around right back inside. The ducks are quacking, more so on the return journey. There are two people laughing behind the camera when the ducks run back inside. At the end we hear, “Are you kidding?” /End description.]

This is Vekni (means Loaf in Hungarian). She lives at the dorm of the University of Applied Arts and Design in Budapest. Unfortunatelly, we can't have her inside the building, but she is being fed by roughly 200 people.

"We had two bottles of rum and whisky, a lot preWar cigarettes, a salt shaker half full mescaline, and jet, Psycho, Med-X, Buffout, Mentats, Turbo, Steady, RadAway, Rad-X, and also a quart of lukewarm Nuka-Cola Quantum, which I was saving for special occasions"
